Home Depot Complaint - Home Depot Employees
NATICK, MASSACHUSETTS -- Home Depot Employees appear that they don't feel like being there. They complain amongst each other and are not eager to assist customers. There is no morale and seem they just there to buy time. My wife went to buy seeds and soil with our two young children so that they could enjoy and experience gardening, however an unfortunate incident occurred when she took the cart back (in kindness) to the store entrance and noticed one of the employees watching her. Later during the day she noticed her purse was missing and remembered that it was in the shopping cart (cart with steering wheel for kids). My wife was devastated and in tears and called me. I rushed to Home Depot to see if I could locate it and if someone could have turned it in. Someone turned it in but all her cash of $200.00 and a check made out to her for her birthday was stolen. My wife believes and suspects the employee but the manager at the store said that there are no cameras by the entrance. We were told to call customer service which they could not do anything either.
I use to shop at Home Depot but never again, I was in the market for a new dishwasher, new faucets for my kitchen and bathroom and bought them at Lowe's which is only 2 miles further from where I live. The staff at Lowe's were smiling and always willing to help even when they busy with other customers multi tasking and answering quick questions. I was there 3 days this past week and was there tonight to pick up landscaping items.
