Allegiant Air Review - Allegiant Does Not Care About Customers
Recently my Husband was returning home early to complete a very important project which his Job depended on. We were flying from Rapid City to Phoenix Non Stop. I dropped him off at the Rapid City Regional Airport at 11:00 for a 1:05 flight. We like to arrive early just in case of any problems. Well that would not have been early enough as the flight left at 11:05. There was no one at the counter to talk to but someone from American Airlines told him the flight had already left. My husband was like "What" and looked at his itinerary which clearly stated the flight left at 1:05. Allegiant apparently had called the night before we left on May 13th and left a message on our answering machine. We had already left to spend the night at our childrens house near the airport. We had no idea the entire time we were gone that this had happened and did not have access to a computer to see if the flight had any problems. He had called me to return to the airport and I circled for the next 35 minutes until he had worked some changes out. (good thing I had some gas) The attendant from American who was amazing helped him out and got him a flight the NEXT DAY to Las Vegas and then a connecting flight on another airllines to Phoenix $280.00 later. What in the world! My husband nearly lost his job and luckily had extra money in his account to cover the change as of course they do not take cash. Not to mention all the Tums he ingested during this episode.
So then we returned to our base site and went for round two the next day. He did eventually make it home and was able to stay up for the next 48 hours to finish the project which was due, so he would not loose his job. Thanks Allegiant Air for an experience we will not soon forget.
Never fly Allegiant Air Again!
