Green Cab Complaint - Customer Care Important???
In pouring rain after working 10 hours (05/25/11), I called Green Cab for a comfortable ride home. The call ended when I was promised the cab will be picking me up in 15 minutes. I would have understood if it took just a little longer than that considering work traffic (even though it's 3:00pm) and weather conditions. After 45 minutes of waiting, I asked why I was still waiting and was told the driver was close, but no apology for telling me the wrong wait time. I had to pick up my son from day care and was worried he would also be stranded. after 1 hour and 15 minutes, the cab driver explained that he was not given all of the information he needed to pick me up and was on another job when I called earlier. If I was told I would have to wait that long, I would not complain, rather wait or call someone else.
Instead, I was greeted by a nonchalant, uncaring dispatcher who seemed to be satisfied just getting me off the phone instead of, at the very least, apologizing for the horrible inconvenience.
