Flowers for a funeral - Complaint

I ordered flowers for my aunt's funeral and paid extra for guaranteed delivery the night of the wake.
No flowers were at the wake, so I contacted both ProFlowers and the funeral home staff and again the date of the funeral-NO FLOWERS.

Despite having a letter from the funeral home that the flowers were never delivered ProFlowers continued to send me emails to my complaint saying the flowers were delivered and I have not ever
gotten any product.

This company does not stand behind their promise and dealing with them is a nightmare and their promise of "We Care" is totally unbelievable based on their performance.

I lost money and I hope this does not happen to you!

Did the flower shop offer any proof of delivery? If they were delivered, there should be a record of it. If not, then you should point that out to ProFlowers. You can also file a complaint with your states consumer protection service (often a division of the state's attorney general office).

If EVER there was a time to use your long-distance service--this is it!!

Call the funeral home directly, and ask for a reputable local florist. Then, call that florist directly, and order the array of your choice. If there's a problem, you can call the funeral home back and complain about their recommendation. It won't do *you* much good, but the florist might lose the funeral home's future recommendations.
