Hartford Informative - Hartford Crooks - Auto Insurance Claim

Review by trannybuilder1887 on 2011-06-01
I bought a used Car on March 5th 2010 less than an hour later a Guy ran me off of the road O called Hartford first to turn in a claim. They were making an issue of the fact I had JUST bought this car.

"Oh Your telling us you JUST bought this car then had an Accident less than an HOUR LATER??". That's what happened, OK they requested a bill of sale from dealer OK I sent it, they claimed they didn't get this bill of sale I sent 3 MORE copies each time to a different person at Hartford. I kept getting RUDE little Girls in the 20 to 30 year old range.

I ended up in the hospital from health issues had several surgeries and illness's. I been trying to reopen this claim NOW Hartford claims I was sent some letter dismissing the claim and that they never received a bill of sale. DON'T get HARTFORD they do NOT like PAYING LEGITIMATE CLAIMS!

CROOKS CROOKS CROOKS CROOKS!!!!!!!! BEWARE they Want your Money and NOTHING ELSE!

If you already own a car and have insurance your current coverage will automatically transfer to the new vehicle.

Depending on your carrier and your state of residence, you will have anywhere from 14 to 30 days to let your agent or company's customer service department know about the change.

It sounds like it may be time to get an attorney involved. Insurers will sit up and take notice with a bit more attention to the matter when they receive a call or letter from an attorney.

I hope you have proof that you sent all those bills of sale.
