Sears Repair Service Complaint - Long Repar times and subpar customer service
I brought my lawn mover to the repair center in Livingston NJ and I was told it will take 2 weeks and about $50-$60 to repair. Two weeks later I had a message saying it will be late. Then I received another call saying it will be $110 vs the $50-$60 that was estimated initially. I agreed. Now it is past 3 weeks and I still had no further news on the repair so I contacted the repair center at 631-531-3584. I was told that they were waiting for a part and it will take another week. I asked if there was any way they could expedite as it already has been 3 weeks and I was replied to very rudely that they are trying and they will get it done when they have the part.
I contacted the Sears Cares department about my complaint. It's been 5 days and all I have gotten is an e-mail asking for my phone number, but no calls yet. Looks like Sears really doesn't care.
