Ohio Casualty, / Liberty Mutual Complaint - Bad Faith Insurance Co, Comfort Inn Hotel, West Chester, Ohio.

Review by gattsgayle378 on 2011-06-03
I was staying at the Comfort INN in Westchester Ohio, I came to the hotel after work, where my company had transferred me, as I keyed my room door, and opened the door to my room, the hotel room door came closed to quickly, and the door slammed shut on my finger, and amputated my finger off. I was taken to the hospital by ambulance and they could not re-attach my finger, the comfort Inn insurance co, is Ohio Casualty, and sister company is Liberty Mutual. listed as one of 10 worst insurance co, they use all sorts of tactic to keep from paying claims, They denied my Liability claim, and told me I had to prove liability, so I hired a retired building inspector, he pulled laws, and he gave written opinion about the door and liability. I am still awaiting to hear from the insurance co, This is got to be one of rudest insurance co I have ever heard of, after calling the presidential service team and asking to speak with the CEO Mr. Kelly, I have yet to hear from them.

The CEO seems to be to busy to contact me. The adjuster was so rude she had to intention to pay anything, she offered me 1700 to settle this claim, ridiculous.

Now I have the proof.

Insurance claims take a long time; I was rear-ended by a young girl with Erie Insurance, took the company two years to settle and pay.

If you are not already being represented by an attorney or lawyer, your next move should be to get one. You will get nowhere on your own.

You should let an attorney handle this issue for you. Of course the insurance company is going to deny your claim. To their stockholders, they are a great insurance company.
