Continential Airlines Complaint - Customer Service - Yes

Yes - Complaint
Review by taurus47528 on 2011-06-05
Contintential Airlines. On a recent flight from Puerto Rico to Houston, the head Attendent performed in a non-professional manner. His name is Walter. When a passenger accidently spilled coffee, his body language was "so...", he demonstrated annoyed behavior and finally got some paper towels. I asked for ice, he acknowledged me but than went to get some decaf coffee for anothr passenger, took care of 4 other passengers. I asked him again for the ice and he reponded by saying " you already told me" in a condesending manner.
I strongly believe that Walter should get a refresher course on dealing with customers, realize that he is representing Continential Airlines when he is on duty.

Maybe those 4 other passengers asked for assistance before you did. It's only fair to help people in the order in which they asked for something

Yes, I have to wonder if the requests had queued up. The flight attendant should have been more pleasant about it, but it sounds like he was doing things best he could.

Remember - he's a guy. You have to lower the bar for us.

Gee, thanks!

It's very possible that how the op perceived it, is exactly how it happened. I've seen it firsthand before myself. Some flight attendants are just rude and make you feel bad just because you are asking them to do their job.

I normally defend the airlines a lot of times around here, but Continental Airlines - who I used to think had the best customer service - has really failed to impress me recently.

Continental is merging into United Airlines now. I don't know if the merger is affecting Continental Airlines morale since it will be the United Airlines name that is surviving, but I will be avoiding Continental for a long while.
