CHESAPEAKE, VIRGINIA -- I moved into this house 2 years ago and was told that Access is the security team that installed the system so we went with them for monitoring. The tech had multiple issues setting the system up blaming the cable company. Now, I have PCS orders and I have tried to call multiple times to cancel my contract as I will not be in the area anymore. I finally got a hold of someone and she told me that the cancellation was in progress. The next day, I received a phone call from someone stating that we cannot get out of our contract that we signed. I have been in the military 20 years and have NEVER had an issues getting out of a contract due to PCS orders (seeing how this is something that is out of my control.) STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

VIRGINIA BEACH, VIRGINIA -- I utilized this company while occupying the premises. A month before transferring, I called and left several messages, and then finally spoke with a representative and ask them to take the alarm system out of my name. I was ensured the transaction would be complete. This was Dec 2014 when I transferred to another state. Return to Virginia, I found out I am being sued by this company that never implemented the disconnect request. After showing documents that I moved out of the resident. Glenn still billed me for a service I haven't received from this company in four years. Please save your money and go with a reputable company that will not trying to steal your money.

VIRGINIA BEACH, VIRGINIA -- DO NOT MONITOR YOUR HOME OR BUSINESS WITH THEM! The absolutely WORST service I have ever received! Will not answer service phone calls. The detector on my back monitors fell off the day after they were placed by the installer. Numerous messages have been left for the owner or installer to call and it has been over 5 months and I still can't get a phone call back. I have tried to cancel and Glen who apparently owns the company has been sent numerous messages and still will not contact me or cancel my services. I had to have ADT come install new equipment... and Access Innovations is still billing me! Don't waste your time or money this company.

VIRGINIA BEACH, VIRGINIA -- We bought a new build home and the builder told us about access, so we set up a system with them. Little did we know that the company was very small and very hard to get anything taken care of. My biggest reason for bad review is that my husband is in the military and is being deployed oversea and Access was unwilling to work with us to get out of the contract. My husband has been in the military for 10 years and we have never had a problem with canceling contracts due to a move or deployment. We gave a 30-day notice and told them they could have the system back. All we wanted was to cancel our service and they were unwilling to help in any way.

VIRGINIA BEACH, VIRGINIA -- Previous review was a one star but the company did contact me, has provided a completely satisfactory resolution. Once I got through to the right person they were professional and worked with me to my satisfaction.

VIRGINIA BEACH, VIRGINIA -- The address on Virginia Beach Blvd doesn't exist. Call them and good luck. Trying for 3 months to cancel service. If they won't return your call you can't cancel. D+ BBB rating.

VIRGINIA BEACH, VIRGINIA -- We bought a new home on which Access Innovations served as a subcontractor for structured wiring. They wired and installed our home theater system and our security system. Simply put, Access Innovations is a joke. After six months, the home theater system has not consistently worked, despite more than ten visits from a technician, and finally the owner of the company. The owner of the company returned five times to reinstall the same part, which never functioned correctly. Finally, at my urging, he found an alternative part that may actually be working.

The home security system is malfunctioning on several doors, sending false alarms, and is unable at this point to be fully armed. A tech came out last week and apparently "fixed" the wrong door. Hopefully the developer is paying attention and will cut these clowns loose. Stay far away if you don't have to use these folks...
