Service Was Top Notch, but Delivery Needs to Be Worked On

CHICAGO, ILLINOIS -- We had a problem with our order. The quantity was not correct, but the customer support team did an excellent job of fixing it. We have waited a few days for them to call back and let us know about the delivery date. Took 2 weeks longer but the overall buying experience is good. They were extremely professional and courteous.

CHICAGO, ILLINOIS -- I'm not typically one to write reviews but this company deserves a five star review. Their site is simple and straightforward to use, with no unnecessary questions or options. We got exactly what we wanted when we made our order. The logistics were excellent. We received our table tops, chairs and booths exactly when we were told we would. I will continue to support these guys with another order very soon. Thank you for a very pleasant buying experience!

CHICAGO, ILLINOIS -- The chairs I ordered from their website are surprisingly comfy, with springy cushions. Most importantly these chairs are extremely durable which is just what I needed. One chair was damaged during delivery but I manage to sort it out after a few phone calls.

DELAWARE -- I am pleased with the quality of the tabletops I purchased. The quality is excellent, and they appear to be quite durable. Customer service was helpful in determining which tabletops would be appropriate for my burger establishment.

CHICAGO, NEW YORK -- I ordered 14 Wooden Ladder Back chairs with a 3 year guarantee and made in America. They have been in service less than 6 months and the supposed 7 layers of finish is coming off every chair. I can live with that. The wooden seat with padding and vinyl cover has the screws puncturing the vinyl leaving a hole and poking my customers in the butt. After making me jump through hoops and documenting my issues on every chair with photos and waiting weeks for a response they told me these manufacturing defects are not covered. I said WHAT!!!

CHICAGO, ILLINOIS -- I ordered a double sided booth for our school library. We didn't have the money to go with another company. In fact we ordered it with donations from the staff and teachers for the principal for Christmas. The order allowed us to select a grey and green scheme that matched our school colors really well. It also allowed us to get a double booth at the price of a single. We received a response that they were changing our colors to an orange red upholstery color with our green vinyl.

After arguing with them about colors, we went with a substitute that wasn't even available on the order form. By the way, to get any material covering on a booth that clearly came with it was an extra $95. Then we received it this week, and it is a single. I have my confirmation that says I ordered a double booth. Their response when we contacted them was that of course a double booth would cost significantly more than a single and we only paid for a single so there is nothing they can do about it.

CHIGAGO, ILLINOIS -- Have to say it's been a long time that I have been this disappointed with customer service. We made a mistake and ordered the wrong height of table base... 100% our fault, but it took me almost a week to even get a hold of someone about swapping/exchanging just the poles. We sent them back 2 day priority and they were received almost 2 weeks ago. I sent SEVERAL emails expressing that we REALLY needed the correct poles so we could get out our new tables and chairs (the bar stools were sent to us week before our table tops so we have had to store them all over the restaurant for a while now). I never heard back from anyone.

So I called and am still told that I need to wait longer. I am unsure what is taking so long. You received the "wrong" pole, re-invoice me for price difference and shipping, I pay and you send the correct sized poles back to us... DONE. This is my first time using this company and it will be my last and I will make sure that my other restaurateurs know to steer clear.

UPDATE: AI was contacted and told that the correct poles would be shipped as soon as I approved and paid for the updated invoice... Great, except that the invoice is quadruple what the difference actually was including almost $80 in freight (when we shipped the pole back to them it'd cost us $40 for 2 day express)? When I asked why it was so much I was told that this is how it had to be done... wow! Got my money now on to the next customer to screw over. I could never treat my customers like this. I would be out of business but sadly a business this big can sometime just do whatever they want... And they do!
