ONLINE ORDERING, PENNSYLVANIA -- DON'T DO IT!!! Is all I can say. Twice I ordered furniture only to have it canceled. The second time it was canceled, it was less than 24 hours prior to delivery. I had all the furniture removed from my 80 year old mother's house in preparation for the delivery. All they could say is, "Sorry but we can get you something else to be delivered in 3 WEEKS"... SO my 80 year old mother is supposed to sit on the floor until then...

"Well it's only 3 weeks", they say!!! "That's the best we can do, it's our policy". Well guess what Bob to hell with your policy!!! No sense in me confirming the delivery 3 separate times only to be told there are no more in stock or it's damaged at the warehouse! You're a furniture store! You can't find another sofa in your massive warehouse to send her!

I didn't care about the color or style, nothing but OH Well, but order online again and wait another 3 weeks... I guess the 3rd time is supposed to be a CHARM! Not in this case. I'd be an idiot to do it again! Bye BOB's. Never doing business again, and I will make sure everyone I come in contact with fully understands the same.

MANCHESTER, NEW HAMPSHIRE -- STAY AWAY - What this company has become is absolutely appalling? We have been purchasing products from them for over 10 years, most recently we purchased a new bedroom set. Delivery Service was built on lie after lie starting with the driver that came to my house. They trashed my house, damaging the ceiling and the molding. Mis-installed my daughter's bed. Damaged the dresser and footboard, found out later the chest of drawers drawer was busted.

Knowingly sent out damaged replacements to replace the already damaged furniture. Never contacted me on how they were going to correct the situation, instead waited until I called them. If it was one instance or one employee I would not be this vocal, but clearly there is a pattern that just cannot be ignored.

Stay Away From These Frauds and Con Men

SOUTHINGTON, CONNECTICUT -- Wish I could give 0 stars. Avoid this place, they are frauds and criminals. We bought a table from this store. Knowing that the quality isn't as good as top furniture stores (you get what you pay for) we decided to buy the Goof Proof Protection. We were told by the salesman "anything happens to the table, we will fix it, not problem." Well, of course there was a problem. When I got two big scratches in my table, I called for the policy and I knew right away they were up to something.

They were very careful to ask vague questions. Kept saying things like "do you have any more information" but would not say what they were looking for. They added, "once the claim is in it can't be changed" so I knew they were up to something. They then declined claim saying there wasn't enough information. They just make up things that aren't in the contract and talk over you when you try to explain what the contract says. I dealt with both the store itself and corporate. Avoid these people at all costs, they do not deserve your business.

Broken Furniture and Delivery Disasters

BROOKLYN, NEW YORK -- I was delivered a broken dresser. The company said they will deliver a new dresser a week later. On the day of the second delivery, the driver called and said he will be at the house earlier than expected and asked us to be at the home at a certain time. My wife changed her whole schedule to come home early and accept the delivery. After waiting for an hour she called customer service and they said that the delivery was cancelled due to poor weather.

No one called and let her know that the delivery was not coming anymore. Bob's prices are decent but the service is the worst I have ever encountered. We have no idea when the dresser will be delivered and if it will come in working condition. I rather pay a little more but know that I will getting proper service and furniture that is not broken.

Poor Quality, the Worst Customer Service

DEDHAM, MASSACHUSETTS -- I purchased a high-end bedroom set for myself and for my daughter as well. The top of the headboard of ours started to peeling after a few months. Then my daughter's drawer got a crack a few weeks after. I called them and they said they will send someone to take a look. They have never sent anyone until I called them back a few months later. Then they started a new claiming process and after asking for some pictures they said those problems are not included in the basic warranty.

Well, I don't understand why it is not included since the top of the headboard is not touchable and the peeling was the result of poor quality. Their stuffs look good but be aware of poor quality as well as bad customer support. I would never purchase anything from them.

HARRISBURG, PENNSYLVANIA -- Purchased a recliner/sofa in 2015. Have had several issues and after a struggle every time they have fixed the problem. In Oct/Nov 2017 we had seam separation and tears. They said our pets did it, which they didn't. They ordered us a seat at no cost and said they would install it when we get it. Since that time the same thing is happening to the right side and I call Guardian and they state that Bob's CS should handle it and that I paid for 5 years of coverage. Called Bob's. They sent me back to Guardian who again sent me back to Bob's. This is ridiculous, no one wants to help.

Last call this morning. Said I was no longer covered because I didn't buy extra protection and I could purchase the cushion for $150 and they would install it for a fee once we receive it. This is just ridiculous. I have purchased several things since then and spent a good amount of money. Well I think I need to take my business elsewhere to a company that cares. I will make sure when friends ask a good place for furniture it won't be Bob's.

Very Happy With Customer Service So Far

MADISON, WISCONSIN -- I came into Bob's Discount Furniture and was helped quickly to pick out some kitchen chairs. My salesman helped me with some hints on keeping my kitchen chairs in good shape and to make the screws stay in place (sales person who worked at A1 movers). My chairs came in before they were supposed to - which would have been a plus if I had wanted them earlier. The day I had come to pick them up, I was given the opportunity and helped to inspect my 8 chairs that I had purchased. This meant opening 5 separate boxes and pulling everything out of packaging to inspect all areas.

Everything was up to my standard and I was helped to repackage all the items. The employee who helped me to do this was in great spirits even though it was end of the day. He was great to make conversation with as I did this time-consuming not so fun task. Then this employee recommended some mattresses that I was able to test out on the way out of the store to start my mattress shopping adventure. I give them a 5 star so far with this purchase.

BELLINGHAM, MASSACHUSETTS -- Stay away from this store!!!!my furniture was delivered 3 times!!!!Every time something was missing!!!!!!!
Very very very bad experience!!!!!!!!!!if you need your furniture make sure you have a month before everything it's gone be ok and steel 3 rd time they came some furniture steel with scratches!!!!!!! Unbelievable!!!!! 3 days of work missing and waiting for Bobs delivery which they sad it's gone be in a morning first delivery confirmed by the phone with their customer service But next day they came at 5pm!!!!!!! Unbelievable!!!!! And the bad part is when they started to put the last piece of bedroom bad one part was in scratch!!!! But I had enough from this company!!!!
Stay away!!!!Bad bad bad very bad service!!!!!

FARMINGDALE, NEW YORK -- Ever wonder WHY Bob's Discount Furniture spends sooo much money on advertising?? It's because they need it to try and convince people to buy their VERY poor quality, sub-par, junkie furniture. Like the many of THOUSAND unhappy customers that was duped - I was a sucker as well. Here is what happened: My wife and I wanted a nice but reasonably priced bedroom set for our guest room and we also bought a 90 Inch Leather couch from Bob's too... and YES, we did pay for the "Goof Proof" protection plan.

First off we did not buy Bob's $999 entry level bedroom set. This was one of his so called "Premier" better quality solid Mahogany bedroom set costing two thousand dollars BUT we certainly did not get a "Premier" experience. The headboard had to be exchanged THREE TIMES before we received one that wasn't damaged. The Mahogany carved foot board had a chunk of wood broken off and the leather couch had a split seam after only 3 months of use. What a pile of garbage!!!

This was absolutely the most horrible new furniture experience I had in my life and I am 60 yrs old. If you are thinking about buying from Bob's DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND THINK AGAIN. I hope sharing my experience helps you. BTW - My elderly mother bought a bedroom set from Raymour & Flanigan five yrs ago and was very happy with the quality. You pay about 30% more but you get quality furniture you will cherish for a life time.

The Worst Place to Buy

SALEM, NEW HAMPSHIRE -- I purchase a king size bedroom set dresser, mirror, chest, nightstand, king size mattress and foundation, headboard, footboard and side rails on Oct 5, 2017. My bedroom set was available for pick up on Oct 17, 2017. The whole bed frame was not available until Nov 7, 2017 so I was told by the seller name Dan...

But now they telling me that they cannot do anything about it because all they know is that my bed frame will be available by Nov 20 or so “this is what they responded to me” & I call customer service. “Corporate“ not much of help either... Personally this is how I see it, once they have your money they do not care how long it takes for us to receive the merchandise... My mattress & foundation is still in the floor because I have no bed frame. 👎🏼
