I am a multiple pet owner who utilizes online purchasing a lot to save money. This was my first time dealing with www.budgetpetcare.com and I have done everything in my power to make sure that people know exactly what happened to me when I placed an order with them. This is just one other step I am taking. I purchased $339 worth of Revolution from them on a Thursday night and paid in full.
Revolution is a prescription product so I was anticipating a step where you enter your veterinarian's name and number to get the OK from them. That part never happened so right after I placed the order, I called them on the phone to make sure my order would be handled in a timely manner. The woman I spoke with told me she would personally call my veterinarian that day after I had given her all the information. The next morning, my order was still waiting to have the prescription verified and my vet said no one had ever called. I was upset because this was going to delay my meds arriving.
After speaking with my vet, she gave me a large discount on what I needed so I decided to purchase from them instead. I called budgetpetcare.com back and cancelled my order with them. This was less than 12 hours from when I had placed the order to begin with. The woman I spoke with (** - who was very rude), said that she had cancelled my order and I would receive a full refund within 3-5 working days. This happened on a Friday. On Monday, I checked my order and it still said waiting for prescription to be verified.
I was concerned that my order had never been cancelled so I called them immediately. It was in fact, true that my order had never been cancelled. ** told me that she would cancel my order by the end of the business day and my refund would be 3-5 working days. I checked on Wednesday and my order said the same thing. I was very upset at this point. I called them again and asked to speak with a supervisor. I was told no one was available but a message would be left and someone would call me back.
I did receive a message from ** that evening that she had personally taken my cancelled order to be refunded and that I would have my refund by the next day (which would have been Thursday). This did not happen either. I called them back on Thursday and asked to speak with a supervisor and after speaking with a supervisor, was hung up on by her. After calling back multiple times, they hung up on me each time. I called from my cell phone so they didn't know it was me and was able to get through but they immediately hung up on me again. They delayed the processing of my refund and the 3-5 working days turned into 12 days!!
I was so upset that they hung up on me multiple times for only inquiring about my refund and started to question their validness as a company. I do not know any company that tolerates their employees hanging up on customers but this one obviously does. Only after I threatened to call my lawyer and file a complaint with the BBB did they finally process my refund (which really takes 7-10 business days per Allied Wallet - which is the company that actually refunds the money).
I researched them on the BBB website and they had 10 additional complaints in the last 3 years (all of which were left unresolved because budgetpetcare.com refused to respond) and the BBB gave them a rating of F. I wish I had researched them prior to placing an order but had never had a problem before purchasing online. Boy did I learn my lesson. I truly hope no one has to learn about them the way I did. That is why I am writing this review.
From San Diego, CA. I want to warn others that about to place an order with this business. I found their website and so excited to order first time a 6 chew NexGard for my small dogs. After 2 weeks I received the product. Instead of a 6 chew for small dogs, it is a 3 chew for medium dogs. The order print out came together with package confirmed that they got the information right but sent the wrong product. I have tried to contact them multiple time by email, message, phone with no response. I spent $60 and now cannot even use it for my dogs. I doubt that they gonna refund to me. Be aware of this scammer company and DO NOT order with them and waste your money.
EASTON, PENNSYLVANIA -- My feline was really getting thin due to worms and I was quite skeptical to try anything until and unless my veterinarian gave green signal to the treatment. After diagnosis, he told me that my kitty was suffering from gastrointestinal worms and so I had to use a deworming treatment as soon as possible. The reason was that she was getting thin on a daily basis.
I wanted to get only qualitative product which was genuine and so he told me to get products from BudgetPetCare. I am thankful to him for recommending this company as now my cat is free from these worms and is regaining weight. I will continue to make purchases from this online store in the future too!!! Budgetpetcare.com is a fantastic company with cheap prices on name brand supplies. Even though product comes from the UK normally within 7 days after they say my order has shipped I receive the product and great customer service. Highly recommend budgetpetcare.com.

I am really glad to have come across this online store as I was able to save lots of $$ on the pet products purchased. The zero shipping charges on the products ordered was the real deal breaker which made me shop for more products. Needless to say, the products were delivered within a week's time from placing the order in excellent conditions. This is by far the most cost-effective online store in our country. UK, NORTH CAROLINA -- Contrary to what I have seen elsewhere from customers, I was given no tracking number. They said because they ship "in bulk", and was told there was a 14 business day time frame before I would receive my order. Well my dog needs his flea control on a consistent basis so the cheap price does me no good if I can't give it to him. I still have to purchase the Frontline and wait for their order to arrive to return it. Never using them again!! 😫😣😬

Unfortunately, you have quite a few ignorant people out there who from lack of common sense and knowledge will attempt to malign a great business that has super prices and terrific customer service.
Ignorant people say "I ordered Frontline Plus and received Frontline Combo... it's a scam." The scam is from the drug companies that price both animal and human medications much cheaper everywhere but here in the U.S. Complain to the drug company, do not bad mouth a company. If you think I'm lying just go to Merial's (mfg of Frontline) website and read at the bottom "FRONTLINE Combo® contains fipronil and (S)-methoprene ®Registered Trademark. For further information, contact Merial Animal Health Ltd, CM19 5TG, UK. ©Merial Ltd 2012. All rights reserved". Those are the exact same ingredients as Frontline Plus!
Foreign service charge? That charge (usually 3%) is put on by your credit card company NOT Budget Pet Care!! Get a Capital One card and there is NO extra charge! Your vet says the drug is phony/counterfeit? What do you expect them to say at the prices they charge? Get rid of your lying vet and find someone honest! It took too long to get your merchandise? It comes from England, Canada or Australia... with the money you are saving... have some patience... you charged it didn't you? Therefore, you have protection. So, you can believe the morons, village idiots, whatever or do yourself a favor and get a good product at a great price!!!!!!!!!!
FLORIDA -- I have purchased from Budget Pet Care for some time. I normally chose to purchase dog care products but have from time to time purchased for my cats as well. I am always happy with the pricing. They always offer a discount incentive to buy and purchasing from their site could not be easier. I usually put the purchase through PayPal, another convenience they offer. They always send a confirmation of the order, a Buysafe protection plan they pay for to ensure a smooth shipment experience for me. They also let me know when product has been shipped. I need look no further for a good company to do business with.
