Intelliflix is a SCAM!
By -

I have been a member for almost a year. They have stopped sending me movies, because if you want the new titles they keep moving them to the QUEUE area and tell you to pick more titles. I HAVE NEVER gotten a game sent to me, even though I have 15 listed in my QUEUE. They tell me it's because gamers keep them longer. I have been trying to cancel my membership for 4 months now. They will cancel it, but not refund any money. So if you pay for a year- which you have to, you have it for a year.

Intelliflix Is a Scam!!!!

Intelliflix is obviously a fraud. How do they manage to stay in business, companies like this one must be shut down and prosecuted? They got me with their so-called SuperPass PLATINUM (I would say SuperRip-off PLATINUM). And here is why: Member Since: 2006-Nov-17. Received 6 movies from which: 1 DVD damaged, 2 DVDs I never even queued (they put those movies in my queue themselves, and sent me them when I deleted everything from my queue, getting ready to cancel the subscription). 3 DVDs out 6 listed as not returned (so they will charge me for each $20).

Does this look to you like a joke? It isn't really, when it comes to lose more than you already lost (I still have to go through and get the refund [what is left] from them). SHUT THEM DOWN!!! Oh, and don't believe those websites that rate Intelliflix high (probably another scam), try for yourself and find webmasters/website contact address - I never could.

To those few I could, I sent them an e-mail that they are liars, they never responded (only one webmaster responded that they will reconsider having them on their website at all). SHUT THEM DOWN!!! And another scam, if you see on some websites that have customer reviews a review from ** - Intelliflix Customer Support - don't believe, the e-mail address is bogus. SHUT THEM DOWN!!!

FL Atty General Says Intelliflix

WEST PALM BEACH, FLORIDA -- Paid for 1 year at the end of March 07. Today is August 20, 2007, 5 months later. Intelliflix has managed to ship me 13 titles to date, and absolutely nothing in over 3 months. I've sent countless emails to them to no avail. Their only response is that I should have at least 10 movies in queue. I always have at least 10, but still nothing. I have never dealt with such a band of thieves and liars in my life.

I received this information from the Senior Assistant Attorney General in West Palm Beach, FL: "Our investigation remains open. The company represented approximately a month ago that it was past due on its rent, unable to pay the CEO any salary and that it was soon going under, I have verified the CEO's representation that he is in personal foreclosure on his Palm Beach county residence. I will contact you directly in the event of a financial recovery, which does not appear likely. We will take such action as is appropriate at the appropriate time." In other words, we've all been screwed and there is doubtful recourse. Another SunRocket!! Stay very far away for your own sake.

Delivery or DVD Lost?
By -

After reading a review by Consumer Reports concerning DVD rental services by mail extolling the virtues of Intelliflix as the "best value in DVD rentals by mail," I decided to sign up for their monthly deal at $16.95 for 3 DVDs at a time. I filled up my queue with 20 titles. I received 2 DVDs after a few days and the third never showed up. I viewed the 2 DVDs and returned them. One was noted as returned and the second never showed up.

I received another and returned it. Two of 4 DVDs were now missing. As part of the deal, Intelliflix charges $25 for any missing or lost DVD. Seeing the handwriting on the wall, I emptied my queue and canceled my subscription. I am now being charged $50 for those 2 missing DVDs. Including tax, rental fee for one month and the $50 for 2 missing DVDs, I will have paid $68 to view 3 DVDs. Does this company have a perfect scam going or what?

I fired off a complaint to Consumer Reports' Web Watch with no effect. Intelliflix still uses a video on their web site with one of Consumer Reports' reviewers calling it the best value in DVD rentals. Contrast this with my subscription with Netflix. In 22 months I received 387 movies and only one went missing for which I was charged not one cent. Intelliflix is a ripoff and Consumer Reports is a willing accomplice.

DVD Delivery

I agree with everyone else! I signed up for Intelliflix over a year ago & was very happy at the beginning. All of a sudden this summer, I quit receiving DVDs. I would email, enter a ticket & complain. After complaining I would occasionally get a movie, but it was usually damaged & unwatchable. I complained more & they extended my membership 2 weeks - then another 2 weeks, so I have an additional month membership - which still equals zero additional movies. I sent an email telling them I do not authorize them to renew my membership & switched to Blockbuster!

Horrible Service & Damaged DVD's

It looks like I've fallen to the same trap many others have already endured. I have 40 titles in my queue and haven't received any title above #23 on my list for 4 months now. I never have 3 out at a time like they promised. I see the trend. Have you noticed that those like I who prepaid for a year or more are the ones who are left out in the cold with bad service. They are focusing on the monthly rental customers because they don't want to lose their business. As for us we are stuck.

Yes, I too have tried to get my money back time and again only to be ignored. I've emailed the president of the company desperately only to be ignored as well. It looks like $100 dollars down the drain. Pass the word on to friends as I am. Good luck to all!

Can You Wait Over a Year to Get Your DVD
By -

PORTLAND, OREGON -- The mistake I made was renewing my annual 3 out membership at $190. I have 45 movies selected but none ship as they are not available. One has not been available for 15 months! You put them in order somewhat like you would like to see them but if you are lucky to get one at all it is from anywhere on the list.

I live in the NW but most of my DVD come from Mass. The reason they do not need to send you another while yours is in the mail. I suspect their plan is on yearly membership is to dribble movies out to increase profit. They have no phone customer service and they keep your card on file which will automatically renew over and over.

Watch out and if for some crazy reason you want to deal with this group do it month to month and hope you can cancel out without too much additional cost. By the way I have contacted them several times when no DVDs show after they have received my returns for weeks. Their answer is even with 45 selections in queue there are none available to ship.

Stay Away

MIMAI, FLORIDA -- You will probably be like me and read this after you made the mistake. My mistake is to pay close to $200 for a 3 out annual pass then get no movies several days after they receive my returns. This happens a lot now. They say they are not available. I have 40 selections made and none are available so you pay $200 to write emails. It is a scam where they have few rentals to send but suck you in with a yearly discount which by the way they tack a $15 service fee on on top of after the fact.

Intelliflix DVD Rentals

WEST PALM BEACH, FLORIDA -- I paid for a two-year subscription for 2 movies a month in May 2007. They were sending movies according to plan for 2 months, but ever since then they've been screwing me. Each time I wrote a support ticket asking for another month's credit for the months that they sent no movies, and they said they would give me credit. Now they just don't send movies and don't respond to my support tickets. THIS COMPANY IS A FRAUD.

The reviews thus far have been too kind. This appears to be an A Class fraud. Videos are not mailed out. It seems none of the videos advertised are available. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!
