Thank goodness for this card!
By -

I have had this card for several months now. After filing BK in 2004, it was one of the few cards that would allow me to apply and approve my application. Yes, the fees are tremendously high. However, because I am considered "high risk" I am willing to pay them to get my credit back on track. They have reported me as an on time payee to the credit bureaus, and all is well with that.

I have had no trouble with the customer service, or anything of that nature. I recommend paying with a money order or Cashier's check. However they will hold funds if you pay online, or with a personal check. My bank charges $.50 for a money order, so I go that route. Check it out - you won't be disappointed.

Rewards 660 Sucks
By -

PASADENA, CALIFORNIA -- I signed up for a credit card. When it arrived I called to activate it. They told me I had to send them income verification. I did and then when I tried to call back I couldn't find my credit card. I told them and I filed a lost or stolen claim. They told me they would send me another card and that I was not responsible for that card and when the new card came I could activate that one.

The new card never came so after several months I told them to forget it. I don't want the credit card. They said I was not responsible for that card and then a year later they placed it on my credit report for almost $400. And I never activated the card or used it. Now I can't reach them to get it off my credit. They really suck. Because of them I have seriously bad credit because it is listed on my credit as open account.

Disappointed

I had been a consumer of Rewards 660 for about almost an year, when I was late with two payments they suspended my card. I was contacted by a CSR and I made a payment by phone to settle the account balance. Well about two months later I get a letter from the credit collectors that I owe Rewards 660 484.00. I settle for 300.00 and they see that the payment was made but it was made as a settlement offer. So if I owed them anything which I don't it would have been only 184.00. So I'm glad that they are out of business for scamming people out of their hard earn money.

Phone Calls

SIOUX FALLS, SOUTH DAKOTA -- I have complaint on the Rewards 660 credit card. I have had the card for over a year and always paid more or if anything the payment amount. On April 17th I had surgery and was not able to work. I have not been back to work yet and everyday I receive at least three phone calls from the company. I did call them to inform them that I was not working right now and when I would be able to send them a payment. It is to the point where I do not even answer the phone anymore.

I let it go straight to voice mail and yes there is a message left, but per the FDCA (fair debt collection act) if they leave a message once then they are not allowed to call back the same day that is considered harassment, even if you owe money or not. It really upsets me because I always made my payments until I had to have surgery. Does anyone else have this problem?

Don't Get This Card
By -

SOUIX, SOUTH DAKOTA -- I have been a card holder for one year. I never received any inline credit increases (like they promised) they don't report to all three credit companies. They e-mail or call all the time, for no reason. They are rude. Very hard to speak with them, via e-mail or phone. I cancelled the card and they still charged me the $48 yearly fee. Take it for what it is... they're watching every move so they can collect the FEE's. That why this is a multi-million dollar industry. Go to Wells Fargo. They have no fee's to get a card and they are happy to help. Please don't let Rewards660... Take your business elsewhere. You can benefit from other less than credit card companies.

Horrible people!!!
By -

My experience with rewards 660 has been horrible. And unlike most people I paid my bill on time every month for the first three months. It wasn't until the fourth month while I was between jobs that my issues with this company began. They called me everyday for a month 4-10 times a day nonstop. Then when I made arrangements I still received calls endlessly. Did this make me want to pay them? No! This irritated me and my whole family to the point I had to file a complaint with the FTC and my local police dept for telephone harassment.

Granted there will be a few of you who have had no problem but I am sure there are more of us who has had a problem with them and the few who don't are the ones they are making their money off of. They are incompetent, rude, obnoxious and I would rather pay off all of my student loans in the next month and let them put that on my credit report (that will be my only negative) than to pay them because they have been so mean and uncooperative. Stay away from this card!!! 300 dollars isn't worth all of the aggravation.

BEWARE OF THIS RIP OFF

SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA -- Rewards 660 visa, AKA Meta bank is a huge rip off, 1st they charge you a lot of fees to get the card then when you pay them they hold you funds for 14 days. When you question them about their policy they hang up on you. This is a GIANT RIP OFF. STAY AWAY.

credit and customer service

CALEDONIA, MINNESOTA -- I have had the rewards 660 card now for almost a year, and I don't know about anyone else but this is the best card I have ever had. I have had no problems with their people and I have always gotten my increases as stated, maybe some of us should be thankful a little more to the people that will give us the credit we need, since most of us with bad credit probably don't deserve credit cards anyway.
