SAN BERNARDINO, CALIFORNIA -- I bought ink for my printer, installed it and would not print, no matter what I do. Finally called the store, was asked to bring it back. Met Michael, I was surprised by his knowledge of the product. A bad situation for me was handled with no fuss. I am more than impressed with Michael. You might say he made my day.
JOHNSTOWN, PENNSYLVANIA -- If it weren't for Joe **, Certified Onsite Technician at the Johnstown, PA, Staples, I'd still be completely frustrated with my new Toshiba laptop. He spent at least ten hours over three different days to diagnose the problems (corrupted hard drive) and repair my computer, and finally convinced management to give me a new laptop even though it by then was out of warranty. I commend him for his patience, knowledge, expertise, and even enthusiasm throughout this process, and I hope that Staples realizes what a valuable employee they have in Joe the Wizard.
CINCINNATI -KENWOOD STORE, OHIO -- These two employees (computer technicians) helped repair a computer problem I was having. I could not bring the computer into the store, so ** took all my information and made arrangements for ** to come to my home. They both did a wonderful job in helping me. They were so polite and professional.
ST. AUGUSTINE, FLORIDA -- Computer purchased Jan 2013 and had problems with USB ports not working. A call to Toshiba got no help. Took computer into Staples and Armin ** the manager and John ** the technician took care of me and I left with my computer working properly. Such wonderful and courteous service. Just returned and I am so happy.
PLAISTOW, NEW HAMPSHIRE -- I brought in a laptop that was in trouble. It started at $70 prepaid. Then it was another $60 prepaid, then $70 prepaid, then $140 prepaid. Now I have to bring it to another computer tech to get it fixed. I called the president's office to complain but got nowhere.
PALM COAST,FL., FLORIDA -- Last week I brought my Acer laptop to Staples because my gmail did not load. Brandon, the tech. on duty took care of the problem. He was interrupted by three other customers while helping me; he was polite to all, and handled all our questions and problems in a timely and professional manner. Hats off to Brandon! [Store# 1068]
After a few months of purchasing a brand new laptop, I ran into a problem where the screen would show blank pixels and have lines running down the screen. Sent it in for repair, it came back three weeks later. They told me that it couldn't be fixed by them because apparently there are scratches on the screen made by me and that I had to pay £175 for it to get fixed. Since I don't have any proof that I didn't hand the laptop in that way, my hands are tied.
JASPER, INDIANA -- I took my computer to Staples at Jasper. They charged me 69.99 to diagnose my computer after it got struck by lightning. They called up and told me they couldn't diagnose it, they didn't know how to boot it up. I went to pick it up and asked if I would get my money back since they couldn't diagnose it. They said no because we diagnosed that we can't diagnose it.
