MIAMI, FLORIDA -- This is still ongoing. I bought a ring to be sized and sent to me. That was on a December cruise and it's April 5th and I still haven't gotten the ring. I have been given a back and forth list of excuses while they “kite” my money. Celebrity said they have nothing to do with the purchase. I mentioned repeatedly that since I was charged by them and paid celebrity for the ring (and they obviously got a commission) that they should at least help me with my getting my money back from merchandise I never received. I have spent countless hours trying to communicate with both parties to no avail and after lots of trips on celebrity, Azamara and future trips on the books I will reconsider not using a company which will not stand behind and help me.

I bought a watch that was supposed to be 75% off...only to find it on Amazon for $30 cheaper after I got home

FLORIDA -- During my cruise on the Allure of the Seas, 09/15/19 I purchased an Invicta watch from Starboard Cruise. They informed me that I should just take it to a jeweler at home to get it sized for $2 or $3... I decided that I wanted them to do it, however, when I went to the shop to pick it up the next day... my watch was nowhere to be found. Half an hour later, they went and got me another one.

When I got home from the cruise, I decided to check what the watch was really worth... only to find out that Amazon had it $30 cheaper and so did Walmart. Starboard Cruise had me send them all the information, created a case# and said that they price match and I would hear in 24-72 hours. Almost a month later, they finally decided that the seller wasn't an Invicta authorized retailer and in fact, I wasn't getting a price match.

MIAMI, FLORIDA -- I bought a ring on board Freedom Of the Seas Royal Caribbean from Starboard Cruise Lines and was told they didn't have the size I needed but could send in the ring I picked out and they would replace it with the size I needed. I sent in my ring and was sent back a similar ring but with a much lower quality stone. My local jewelry store gemologist verified the ruby was not of the same quality as the one I sent in. I contacted Starboard Cruise Lines and basically was told, too bad-so sad. They would not replace my second ring with the quality stone I purchased nor would they refund my purchase price. I suggest no one trust Starboard Cruise Lines to have scruples.

8034 NW 14TH ST. MIAMI, FLORIDA -- I went on a family cruise on the Sensation Carnival cruise on April 21,2011 and found a ring on board. My husband bought it but I did not want to wait 4 to 6 weeks for the ring to be sized. The salesperson stated that there was no problem with me getting it sized outside of their company. I had to come back the night before our cruise was over to receive my certificate of authenticity, for my 2 year warranty. Upon returning home, I went to my local jeweler (w/ almost 40 years of experience), to have my ring sized at which time I was informed that the setting of my ring was made poorly and 1 of my stones had already shifted.

So he straightened it when he sized my ring. When I called the company in regards to the problem, I was informed that the warranty was null and void because I went to an outside jeweler! Also informed me that I should have read the warranty better! I am to blame for being trusting but I'm not stupid!!! I was shown the letter of authenticity but never took it back out of the envelope to look on the back of the paper to read the guarantee. How stupid to think sales people are honest or for that fact, even know what they are talking about! I just want my ring fixed properly so I can enjoy wearing it! What ever happened to standing behind your product!

Here's my GUARANTEE, I cruise 2 times a year and I will stand outside the jewelry store and warn everyone walking in! Even though I was misinformed, I will make a SPECIAL EFFORT not to let this happen to anyone I cross paths with. It's a shame businesses can get away with CRAP like this! The only person held accountable is me for believing a sales pitch. Shame on me!!!
