Fraudulent Scam

This organization is a SCAM. Do not use. They inflate the ticket prices with hidden fees that make them more expensive than competitors and do not have an order review screen for you to check that you are being charged for what you want to buy. They will not issue refunds or even attempt to help those who fall prey to their scams. DO NOT USE!!

Do not waste your time and money on them. They are very fraudulent. They overcharged me! Prior to hitting the confirmation button during ticket purchase you will get a low rate once you get the invoice and confirmation the amount almost doubles.

Does Not Honor Their Buyer Guarantee
By -

If you go to the TicketZoom website in the bottom left corner you will see a 100% Guarantee. If you click on the about us tab you will find the following - Buyer Guarantee: "You will receive a 100% refund for any event that is canceled and not rescheduled. After receiving an order confirmation from our ticket network, if for some reason the tickets you selected were not available, our network will substitute comparable or better seats or our network will refund your money.

All tickets are guaranteed to be 100% authentic, this is something that fan-to-fan and internet auction sites cannot provide. Speedy order processing and professional ticket delivery…you will always be on time for the event! All transactions are processed on a secure server with full 128-bit encryption. This means all of your personal information, including your credit card number, cannot be read as the information travels over the internet."

We ordered tickets from them Nov. 3rd, 2010 for a Dec. 12th football game. They promised the tickets would arrive no later than Dec. 1st. ON Dec. 3rd I sent emails telling them we had not received our tickets. On the 4th my husband spoke with a representative who said the tickets would arrive before game day but to call back on Mon. the 6th if we had not been able to contact the seller & ask to speak to a manager.

When my husband called back today, Mon. Dec. 6th he was told that they have not been able to get a hold of that seller. We would not be getting our tickets & if we wanted a refund we would have to call our credit card company. They did not honor their guarantee in any way, not even with comparable tickets. Since other people were counting on the tickets we had ordered we had to go to another site & pay $80.00 more for much worse seats.

Sell Tickets They Don't Have
By -

It turns out that ticket scalping has been legal in our state for a few years. Wanted to buy tickets to an upcoming concert. The venue was sold out - turns out "ticket brokers" bought up the place, and are charging higher prices for the tickets. I really want to go, so I went to a ticket broker site and paid through the nose. I spoke to someone at TicketZoom.com on the phone, since another site (TennisServer.com/TLC) had already sold me tickets then told me they didn't have them.

I was assured that they had these tickets. (The ticket "seller" is not the same. The ticket seller was Tickets Plus.) I received a phone call today that the tickets I bought are not available (again) and I will receive a refund. Funny how both companies were quick enough to charge me for something they turned out not to have. I think this must be a scam. Now I have no tickets for a show I really wanted to see, as every other broker is charging almost twice the theater's price. Beware of ticket brokers! I darn well better get those refunds.

Bait-and-Switch Tactics
By -

NEWARK, NEW JERSEY -- Bottom line: There are much more reputable companies that will provide you with the tickets you actually ordered and have customer service agents that at least act like they care. Why risk falling for the bait-and-switch tactics of scam artists like Selectaticket.com and ticketzoom.com?

I ordered show tickets through ticketzoom.com for center mezzanine seating. Both during the selection process and at checkout, I verified that I had ordered center mezzanine seats. When the tickets arrived, they were for the far right mezzanine -- a worse view and seats that should have been $60 cheaper.

I called the company as soon as the tickets arrived and asked them to correct the error, but was basically told that that it was my fault for accepting the tickets, they would do nothing to fix it, and I could complain to whoever I wanted and dispute the charge if I wished but nothing would change. It's experiences like this that make me very grateful for American Express, who genuinely care about their customers and most certainly will stand behind me and ensure that my money is refunded for these useless tickets.

Misrepresented Tickets to Children, Stole Their Money and Canceled Order
By -

CALIFORNIA -- My girls (ages 11 and 12) saved money and babysat to get money for tickets to see Justin Bieber in June 2010 here in Minnesota. They bought 2 tickets online from TicketZoom.com. They received confirmation receipt and the company took their money from the Visa money card. The next day the sales person e-mailed that oops, the tickets they bought were actually obstructed view but they had overlooked putting that information anywhere, and was this okay anyway.

I e-mailed back that it was NOT okay and if they had disclosed the tickets were obstructed view they would not have bought those seats. I asked them to exchange for 2 other similar seats that were not obstructed view. They refused, and canceled the order. Their money has still not been returned so they cannot now buy other tickets. I have e-mailed and spoken on the phone with many people there and they did not offer any solutions or even an apology.

In the meantime, they are now sold out at the box office. My girls are heartbroken!!! Basically, because of TicketZoom.com and their questionable sales tactics and misrepresentation, and now it would seem out and out credit card theft, my girls are out their $222 that they gave them for the tickets that do not exist and are now unable to go to the concert. THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS - DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH TICKETZOOM. COM!!!
