Don't use A & E Factory Service!
CHICAGO, ILLINOIS -- My husband and I own a two flat in Chicago and provide laundry to our tenants. Returning home from the holidays we found that our washer was no longer working. Frustrated and in need of it to be fixed ... read full review6 Replies - Latest reply on 05/25/2010
SILVER SPRING, MARYLAND -- We tried to use A and E Factory Services for repair of our stove. After waiting several weeks for them to come put in the part that was ordered, they canceled the appointment and said they were over booked. We had been without a stove for more than 3 weeks. They canceled on the day they were supposed to come during the time we were home waiting. Not only did they cancel, but they said they were not coming for at least a week more. They were unwilling to adjust the price as we had already paid them some money for the initial visit. Even though I told them I was having company for dinner (foolishly thinking my stove was going to be repaired), they refused to help in any way and did not seem to care that we had been waiting for a long time and taken off from work while waiting for them. Never use this terrible company.

PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA -- The dishwasher leaves dishes and silverware incredibly dirty. 5 service calls have not solved the problem. Technicians blame water not hot enough (it is 135 degrees, the manual specifies only 120 is needed). Other technician blames hard water (neighbors have dishwashers which work with the same water).

Technicians fail to show up on appointed day. Service supervisor rude on the phone. After 2 months of agony, the problem is not solved.
GREENSBORO, NORTH CAROLINA -- I called this company to repair my washer, and 6 1/2 weeks later it is still not fixed right. They ordered the wrong part 2 times - and after they ordered the 3rd set of parts, I called to complain to the company. That was 19 days ago, and I still haven't received the right part or a single phone call, and I have called 3 times since then and they never let me speak to someone who can address the problem - only that I have to leave a message or write a letter.

Are you kidding me?!!!! This is a new Whirlpool duet washer, so the part can't be hard to get! What idiots!! This is a national repair company so you never get to talk to someone local - just some call center in God knows where. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY!!!
