ANTIOCH, ILLINOIS -- August 29, 2012. I called to start a new service location with COMED today and was told there was an outstanding debt in the amount of $200 from 1999! Note we have four accounts today - all payments having been automatically debited from our bank account so never late in YEARS. This is the first I am hearing about a $200 1999 debt. They will not start new service unless this is paid. And they can provide no detail. What a scam. You can bet I will be looking at other service providers. The CSR was not nice either.
ILLINOIS -- I, like everyone else got way over billed in the month of February. It was more than triple what I have ever pain. When someone finally called my back they said it was an actual reading as opposed to an estimate. I told them my bill has never been that high and please look into it. I was told by the wonderful customer service lady that I should go and read the meter myself... Needless to say they are still looking into this, I don't see a resolution.
IL, ILLINOIS -- I just want to say that I am very disappointed in the service, especially someone who works there in the customer service dept: Her name is ** ext. **, she was rude and unprofessional. I am still waiting for a manager to call me. If I had other options to change another company I would but we don't. Wae are stuck with this service.
