Flowers for Anniversary

OLD SAYBROOK, CONNECTICUT -- Just wanted to share my experience since I saw all the bad reviews once my wife got her anniversary flowers (did not really match the photo) and no balloon. Within about 5 minutes of sending e-mail issue was resolved with a personal phone call to myself from Robyin ** to resolve the issue. The next day my wife received a new flower bouquet that matched the photo from the website with the balloon. I will definitely use them again, they obviously stand by their service and resolve issues accordingly. I know many just take the time to post bad reviews, so I felt that the service I received deserved a 5* review.

WASHINGTON -- I ordered flowers to be delivered the next day for a special occasion. They confirmed that they could deliver in the specified timeframe that I needed and then did not do so. When I called to check on the delivery it was a call center in India and they were not helpful in the least. They said it was my fault as they could never guarantee a delivery timeframe except by end of business day. They argued with me, offered no solution and never delivered the flowers I had ordered. Extremely rude, unprofessional and total crooks. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Compliment to Employees

EDISON, NEW JERSEY -- ALL OF THE FLORAL ARRANGEMENTS I'VE EVER ORDERED WERE BEAUTIFUL, AS BOTH MOM AND mother-in-law sent pics, lovely!!! Wanted to compliment "Grace", very sweet! Had a problem and spoke to supervisor,"Ez" and she was very understanding and helpful!

Big compliments to "De-Andrea"! I placed two orders today, May 8th and she was most considerate, patient and very kind, she reread all info back to me and I hung up feeling happy, respected and not worried about floral arrangements. One arrived to me within two hours, she is very competent and she & Grace are great assets to the FromYouFlowers business!! Only complaint to "Ez", way too much background noise.

The online “flowersfromyou.com” comes close to being a scam. What I ordered was two dozen roses in an extra cost mason jar, and I paid extra to have delivered on Valentine's Day. During my order I gave specific details on how to find my wife. This is what I got: flowers delivered in a box without water by UPS to the dock guy at the wrong building. I had to track them down.

They were dry, several petals were off, one stem had no rose, and a basic vase lay in the box. I had to assemble the arrangement myself. The whole was very disappointing and while talking to their customers' service, it was very clear they are used to complaints. DON'T BUY FROM THEM! They are worst than a toothache.

On Dec 21 I ordered an arrangement to be delivered to my daughters home. I had chose this company because they promised delivery within 4 hours. 6 hours later, no delivery had been made so I called. The auto track system could not even find my order then I sat on hold for quite some time waiting for customer service. Finally I get a young man (claims his name was Yankee) who claimed that the florist wasn't answering him so he didn't know why the flowers hadn't been delivered and he stated they would be delivered the next day. I asked why I paid extra for 4 hour delivery and he offered to refund the fee and give me a $10 certificate. I told him I was not very happy and doubted I would use them again and why not just refund me $10 instead. At first he said he could do that but then came back and said he could not so I asked him to upgrade the arrangement which he agreed to do.
Next day, still no flowers so I call again and a lady tells me they are out for delivery (on their way). Hours later when still no delivery I call again and am told that they couldn't find a florist in my area!
Basically they LIED to me when they said the flowers were out for delivery. Now it is too late to get the arrangement delivered to my daughter and I'll have to wait for a refund to be issued until after Christmas. Will NEVER use this company again!

The damage has already been done. I ordered a nice bouquet for my grandma's funeral. I had rush shipped hoping it would come the same day. Unfortunately that couldn't be fulfilled and nicely told it was going to be delivered first thing tomorrow and got my rush shipping refunded along with a $15 credit.

Here is where it got bad. I had originally wanted it delivered Wednesday, but I did not get the flowers until Saturday afternoon. I had to constantly call them every day wondering where my flowers are at.

When the flowers finally came they were the most embarrasssing set of flowers I have ever seen. They were nothing like the pictures and I was judged by my whole family. I called for a refund and only to get a 30% refund. No refund in the world could turn back the humiliation I received from the flowers I purchased. I went ahead and disputed 100% refund with my bank.

I will never order from this company again and urge everyone else to never buy from this company again unless you want to be disappointed and embarrasssed...

worthless company.

I placed an order on a Tuesday for a Thursday morning delivery. (They advertise that they can do same day delivery… I can only imagine!) I paid an extra $4.99 to have the birthday bouquet delivered before 12noon. The flowers still had not arrived at 5 pm. I had already spoken to three different people, who all had different excuses, as to why the flowers had not been delivered. One stated that the florist was waiting for fresh flowers, one said there was too much traffic, and one wasn't sure what had happened, but assured me that the flowers should arrive by 3 pm!

They also claimed to have called the person receiving the flowers, but she did not receive any calls on her cell phone until the evening, when she was at her surprise party. Who were they calling??? This company is extremely disappointing. The next day, the birthday girl sent me a photo of the bouquet, and it looked nothing like what I had ordered. Do not use this company unless you want to aggravated and disappointed.

Fromyouflowers.com is a rip-off

Bottom Line: Do not order flowers from this website! My boyfriend ordered me a vase of 30 pink tulips and paid for same day delivery. On the website, is pictured a vase bursting with full, vibrant, fully bloomed tulips. What did I receive? A teeny tiny vase in a gigantic box. The vase held not 30, but 17 tiny, squat, completely closed pink tulips that were suffocating in tight plastic wrap. I unwrapped them and four of the 17 (not 30) tulips promptly fell to the floor (they were broken on arrival and I am pretty confident that they were broken before they were shoved into the vase for shipping). Most of them had brown (dead) tips.

I sent a picture to my boyfriend and he was mortified! He had spent over 83.00 for this mess??? I have honestly seen fuller, healtheir, prettier flowers at 7-11 for about $8 or $9. Also, the vase was covered in fingerprints and dust. The little greeting card? Filthy (I mean with brown and green smear on it) torn and printed on some kind of white, perforated paper in faded black in with some weird graphic of 2 open cardboard boxes. Random. I called From You Flowers and I got the most sympathetic customer service representative on the phone, who apologized profusely and said she would refund my boyfriend in full.

She also encouraged me to NEVER order from the website, as the flowers are lower quality and look nothing like the picture. She said to call to place the order, as they will use a reputable, local florist that will actually do a good job. So, I thanked and her and decided that a refund was not enough. I wanted my Valentine's flowers and I wanted my boyfriend to not be so humiliated! So, this is on a Friday (2 days before Valentine's day). I shoot off an email to customer service and ask for a replacement. I get a semi-canned reply and they said they will send me a replacement...... on Tuesday (2 days after V-Day!). Why would I want their crappy flowers 2 days after V-day?

I want them on or before V-day and I want them from a REAL florist. I reply to the email and never got a response. So.... today I get a delivery from fromyouflowers.com. Deja-vu! I open the gigantic box (not very eco-friendly company, maybe???) and find the same tiny, squat vase shoved full of (this time 30) pink tulips, fully closed tulips, of course and you could see the brown rot on them through the suffocating plastic. All of my co-workers came in to get a laugh. I opened the tulips and put them in the vase. Of course, the vase is tiny, so the flowers don't fit and they are brown and smooshy in areas and falling over and the petals are separating.

I send a pic to my boyfriend - his reply? "WOW- they embarrassed me again." THEN, my co-worker tells me that her mom also ordered flowers from this website for Valentine's day and they were AWFUL. Her mom called to complain about the low quality and the price and they offered her a nominal discount -which she found degrading.

Long story short - I never got Valentine's Day flowers and my boyfriend has pretty much declared that he will never risk buying flowers again! Save yourself the embarrassment and bypass this company all together. Go with a florist that is affordable, provides fresh product, takes pride in presentation and more pride in customer service - because based on my experience, fromyouflowers.com cannot cut it.

Pitiful Flowers

I just received my flowers for Valentine's Day and they are just absolutely pitiful. All the leaves have fallen off and there is two small sprigs of baby's breath. A few of the rose pedals are black. This is unacceptable for a $60.00 vase of a dozen roses. I received roses last year from this place and they were beautiful. I don't know what happened, but save yourself a lot of money and order elsewhere. They have nicer roses at Walgreens. Last order they will get from us.
