LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA -- SuperShuttle cancelled my prepaid reservation and left me stranded with three young children, at night, 70 miles from home. Immoral and unethical. I paid for a Shuttle service for my wife and 3 children. Upon landing at LAX at 10:00 on December 31st, their representative told me my prepaid reservation was cancelled. They said they no longer could assure me that any drivers were available. They offered to fulfill their agreement if I waited at the airport for up to 24 hours. They did not even see the ridiculousness of this statement. I was forced to negotiate with other shuttle services and other taxis for a ride.

None were available as it was late on December 31st. Ultimately I caused enough grief that I secured another shuttle but I had to pay extra to get home on a shared service that took several hours longer. I would like them to give me four things: 5 handwritten apologies from the CEO addressed to me, my wife and three minor children. The apologies should state that what they did was unacceptable and they are sorry to scare, and frighten the children. I would like a full refund of both legs of my trip. I would like three $2500 payments, payable to my children, for their college fund as a further gesture of their regret for their immoral behavior.

SFO, CALIFORNIA -- Like many other people that wrote reviews on this huge screw up of a company. If I could I would give them negative 5 stars. My wife and I had a reservation for them to pick us up at 3:50 am downtown SFO for our early morning flight. We were downstairs ready to go with our luggage 5 minutes early. During the 15 min wait time one of their vans went whipping by our hotel at about 40 miles an hour, the driver not even looking for us. So we figured oh OK maybe that's not our van. 20 minutes later I decided to call.

The guy on the phone checks the status on our van and says "Sorry sir your van was there at 3:56 am and you were not there so you are marked as a no ride." "Excuse me," I said, "we were there ready to go 10 min before that and the one van that went by sped right by us." “Well sir,” he says, “it looks like you won't make your flight then.” WTF who are you to say that and thank you for not even trying to get us another ride. We ended up taking a taxi for $2.00 more than the cost of the shuttle. I recommend taking a taxi before using this **.

Left at Airport With No Ride Home

SAN JOSE, CALIFORNIA -- I called on July 2, 2013 to get a ride home from the San Jose airport. I arrived on time and called, per instructions, to meet my driver. The operator put me on hold and after several minutes got back on the line to tell me there was no one available to pick me up due to the BART strike that was going on. The strike was in its fourth day, which meant SuperShuttle knew there might be no available drivers when I booked my reservation, but there was no indication that there would be any trouble. I was left stranded at the airport after a full 14 hours of travel. UNBELIEVABLE. I will not be using SuperShuttle again.

Double Charge Me

SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA -- I prepaid my shuttle service through my credit card. I had my service early in the morning 5am. When I got to the airport the driver requests me to pay. It was early in the morning and I was hurrying to flight I didn't have time to check whether I was paid. The driver then took my money and left and didn't even let me ask for receipt. I now found out in my statement they charged me on card long time ago already. I tried to contact customer service but they said no receipt no refund.

They don't even help me try to contact the driver when I request that. Nor they are willing to give me the name of the driver so that next time I travel with SuperShuttle I can avoid him. They just keep on transferring me to other department and told me to wait 5 to 10 business days each time. I don't want to spend months to get $17 back. This is not big money. But because of SuperShuttle low quality customer service and their unwillingness to contact the driver nor give me the name of driver so that I can avoid him during reservation in the future, I decide now to just avoid SuperShuttle.

Worst Service Ever. You'll Be Willing to Pay Even $100 for Cab Service Than Sign Up for This!!

DALLAS, TEXAS -- This was a nightmare. Once I landed at DFW I had to call thrice to get someone to come pick me up. SuperShuttle made me wait about 45 minutes before they came by to pick me up and made me wait out in the freezing cold weather for fear of missing the cab. They were rude on the phone and only answered when I called from the airport courtesy phone. If I called from my cell phone I was just put on hold for more than 10 minutes. I won't even wish this kind of torture on my enemy. I'd recommend taking a regular cab and paying extra than go through this nightmare!!

Why Bother?

I had a reservation for Super Shuttle at Dallas Love airport yesterday morning. First, their instructions are wrong. There is no "courtesy phone" in baggage claim. Second, the taxi dispatcher does NOT call for the van, you have to. I called Super Shuttle and was told they had NO VANS at Dallas Love. Why on earth did I make a reservation earlier in the week? Then, while I was on the phone with Super Shuttle (with them telling me they had no vans at Dallas Love) a van drove by! I told the dispatcher and she said, "Oh, OK. He's dropping off and we'll have him pick you up."

About 10 minutes later a van showed up. Total time waiting was about 20 minutes. Another customer waiting with me waited over a half hour and he had a reservation as well. I guess a reservation just means to wait until you call, remind them and find a van for them. NEVER USE if you have a choice!!!

Super Shuttle? NEVER! STAY AWAY!

STAY AWAY FROM SUPER SHUTTLE! I only wish I had taken the advice of so many of these reviewers that service had severely deteriorated. However, I ignored them since I never had a negative experience with Super Shuttle, and I scheduled a pickup to LAX.

The van was to pick me up at 5 AM, but never arrived until 6. They never called me. I called the company twice and was told he was "in the area". When he finally arrived, he stood at the van and never offered to help with my luggage. (I'm 66 with my share of aches and pains.) Never apologized for being late.

Finally we were on our way to LAX, but he got a call to pick up yet another passenger. When I asked him where we were going to pick up this new passenger he said, "I don't need this cr*p". Then he got lost. Turns out she had also been waiting for an hour.

When we finally got on the main blvd to LAX, I noticed that our driver was having considerable difficulty in staying in the lane, wandering several feet at times. As it was getting close to flight time, I was particularly concerned when I saw the police black-and-white behind us and felt that we could very well be pulled over. Fortunately, we did not hit anyone when he swerved into an off ramp from one of the freeways. I was relieved when we finally arrived at the terminal. Unfortunately, the quiet retired couple in back missed their flight.

Super Shuttle Miami Florida

MIAMI, FLORIDA -- I was outraged when my husband and I had to take this shuttle from Miami to Fort Lauderdale airport. The driver did not speak a word of english and he took several other passengers (Cuban and Mexican) to their destinations first (each person stop was way beyond where we were to be dropped off).

He did not charge any of them a fee (as we were charged $64) for what was supposed to be a 20 minute ride. The ride turned out to be over 2 hours! This company has refused to reprimand the driver and has also refused to refund my money! What is this country coming to? Citizens and legal Americans no longer have rights and the illegal€™s are running rapid through our country and taking over all of the jobs! I have demanded a refund and the driver to be fired without a positive response!

Horrible Service
By -

ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA -- In January, I planned a trip to California to take my sister for her 18th birthday to Disneyland. When I made the plans with Disney, they had already set me up for Super Shuttle to take me to my hotel. I thought it would be nice and safe because it was set up by Disneyland. When I got to the shuttle, the driver was very rude. My sister and I had to sit in the shuttle for at least 30mins while the driver waited outside trying to get more people to use the shuttle. While we waited, we watched two other Super Shuttles come and leave the airport. Once it was full enough for him, the driver took us on an hour long drive to drop a guy (last person on the shuttle) off at his house.

Ironically, me and my sister were the last to be dropped off. The whole car ride was very scary. The driver was a horrible driver and when on the freeway, the shuttle shook. I will never use Super Shuttle again. I would rather use a taxi. The shuttle going back to the airport wasn't as bad but it was because it was 5:30am and it was only us and one other guy that was also going to the airport. I would recommend finding a different shuttle company. Super Shuttle is very unprofessional!
