McDonald's On East Charleston in Las Vegas, NV Complaint - Terrible service/complaint no addressed by manager
I have been going to McDonald's for breakfast for 6 months, consistently the same items ordered. This morning, the clerk was on her cell phone. I asked, "Is anyone working here?" Then she put the cell phone away and inquired, "What do you want?" I gave the same order I always give, "One fruit and oatmeal cup, 2 sausage McMuffins with no egg, 2 apple pies to go." Then she told me an amount of money that I knew was incorrect. I told her that there was something wrong as the amount was a different one than the $5.39 it always is. She took the $20.00 bill out of my hand, and now it was totally out of my control. The order was entered incorrectly as the amount on the register did not show $5.39. I told the person, "You've got something wrong, I repeated my order again and said it's supposed to be $5.39." I was ignored. The clerk gave me back the change. The clerk offers me back change, and then said, "2 fruit and oatmeal cups." I said, "NO! 1 fruit and Oatmeal cup, 2 sausage McMuffins with no egg, 2 apple pies to go."
"OH, you want three of the cookies!" "No, I don't want any of the cookies." Then she insisted on finishing the transaction with cookies. At that point I asked the person standing next to her, "Are you the Manager here?" She said, "Yes". I said, "We have a problem here, I'm being ignored." I repeated again what my order was supposed to be.
The manager took the register tape from my hand and did some corrective action on the order, then offered me change, but not the register tape. I said, "This person would not even listen to me. We have a problem here, are you going to report it? She said, "I'm sorry." "I want this reported." She stated, "I know". She said, "I'm sorry." Two different times. I left finally with a correct order. I have tried to call the consumer line, always busy, the corporate line, not available. So....Beware of McDonald's!!
