JCPenneys - Cabin creek pants

KELSO, WASHINGTON -- I am wondering if Penneys is trying to give their loyal customers the boot!
I have been buying Penneys products for years. They have discontinued my favorite pillows, bedding and nylons but I stayed with them. However now they have closed out my very favorite pants - Cabin Creek. I can find no other pants that is so good for my live style. Whether its shopping, gardening, camping and hiking, its the most comfortable and durable of pants. I can't fathom who made this extemely poor decision but I sure hope Penneys will see the error of this decision and bring back Cabin Creek brand. I will no longer be shopping with Penneys since they no longer seem to want my business. I can no longer buy clothes for my husband either since they no longer want to carry the styles he likes either. Looks like Penneys new CEO wants only the young teens to buy at their stores. Its going to be hard to find another pants that worked as well for my body and life style but unless Penneys bring back my Cabin Creek I will be looking for a new store to shop at.

Perhaps the brand went out of business or the store's buyers decided to go different direction. I too have noticed that Penney's seems to have more products aimed at the younger set than my own age, but then again maybe they buy more than I do as I don't shop there much. The best deals I find there are around Father's day.

I have no place to shop for my mother. The Cabin Creek pants and sneakers were perfect but Penneys has discontinued the brand. Even the employees are disappointed. "It's not your mother's JC Penney's."

I, too, am very disappointed that J C Penney has chosen to discontinue many of my favorite items, especially the Cabin Creek twill pants. I wear them to work and casual wear 99% of the time. Almost daily a coworker wants to know where I purchase pants that fit so well and I have given Penneys credit for years. Now what? Every day I read of Penney's troubles in the business section of the paper, and I blame the new execs and their "new vision" for the store. To borrow a line from Dr. Phil, "How's that working for you?".
