Silkies Enriche Complaint - Unordered Sample - Silkies Enriche Moisturizer

Silkies Enriche Moisturizer - Complaint
Review by gerryatrix on 2008-01-24
Yesterday I received samples of Silkies Enriche Ageless Moisturizer. They say I will receive more in 4 weeks at a cost of $14.99 plus S&H.

I never ordered this sample and don't want the other but I can't get in touch with them no matter what I try.

I know for certain I did not order the sample as the address is not my normal address.

How did they get your payment info? If you did not give it to them you may be the victim of identity theft. Better check your credit for any hanky panky. If they did put it on one of your credit cards file a chargeback ASAP and return the stuff with a receipt requested to the address it came from. Thanks for letting us know about these guys. (VH)

Payment comes to my mind first too. Are you actually paying for these. Call them immediately and see if they have a card of yours on file. Like super said, identity theft is rampant now and I'm sure it won't be just this you'll be seeing charges for. If they say they have, ask them for the issuing bank and the last four digits.

The customer service number for Silkies Enriche is 1-866-549-3059. You can also contact them via their website at www.silkiesenriche.com, click on Contact Us and then Email Us. If you are positive that you didn't fall for their "Free Sample - Retail Value $39.99 (s&h $4.95) offer, then you need to immediately contact your credit card company and file a dispute - - and be very concerned about the possibility you are a victim of identify theft.

This may just be a marketing ploy too. Why would they send samples to someone on a reoccurring auto ship plan. Read over the material again very closely and if you do call, do not give out any card or banking info.

If they send you anything without you ordering it (make sure you didn't order it by filling out some "Free Vacation" post card somewhere - there is fine print on these things to switch phone companies, etec), the product is considered a gift and you don't owe anything. You don't even need to communicate with them.

slimjim... is right - never give them any financial information - even if the say "it is to verify your account", do NOT give it to them.

Sousan b is right too - if they have your credit card # call the CC company and dispute all charges from Silkies Enriche Ageless Moisturizer.

I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that I never filled out a request for a free sample. I am a beauty consultant and am not the least bit interested in trying a different product. After much dialing & time on hold I did reach a person, cancelled the account and they sent me a return shipping label. "Patrick" insisted they don't randomly send products out and that everything sent is due to request and that if I didn't request, then someone else must have requested for me. Big Fat Lie!!, based on what I'm seeing on the internet. Before I seal the box up & send it off, I'm registering a complaint with the Post Office.

My mother, age 84, received an "unsolicited gift" just like dirty clothes. She also received a bill that said past due for 19.94. I know she did not order the item as she was out of the country traveling for four months. She also does not have a computer or know how to use the internet.

Totally unsolicited, how many widows on fixed income are getting this product just mailed to them with a follow up bill. They don't know what to do so they freak out and pay the bill that says PAST DUE.

What a total scam.
