Nordstroms Compliment - Nordstrom--Good Customer Service Prevails
ON-LINE -- In this non-friendly consumer environment, it is nice to find that my favorite department store is still on top of things.
Way back in late August, 2007, I purchased 3 pair of jeans for my daughter, as a gift. This was an on-line purchase.
When my daughter was visiting in December, she mentioned that the jeans were wearing out rather quickly--something that usually doesn't happen with good quality jeans. I was able to retrieve my receipt on the Nordstroms web site--another nice feature.
She called them and they said to return the jeans with the invoice number and they would replace them for free. They even sent her a label for free shipping. She recently received the jeans--in a short amount of time.
There still are stores that sell quality goods that will stand behind their products. Sometimes things are just defective (as this fabric was)--which is not the fault of the store--but we are usually the ones that have to pay the price by having to purchase a replacement. Not so at this store, I am happy to say.
