FLORIDA -- So happy with my order. As long as you look before you buy and make sure you're not ordering the reptile in extreme hot weather and above 40 degrees then there is no worries. I would recommend this company that wants exotic mammals.

I Had a Great Experience With This Company

CALIFORNIA -- Customer service at the company is topnotch. All emails answered promptly and courteously. All my orders were shipped quickly and arrived looking beautiful. Most reviews I have seen have been positive. I have seen a few negative, and I guess someone will always have a different experience. I am and will always be a repeat customer. I highly recommend this company and will stand behind that recommend.

Horrible Return Policy

FLORIDA, CALIFORNIA -- I bought 4 turtles and they died less than a week, they were super inactive and just slept all day and eventually died. They would not give me a refund since they wanted the picture of the turtle along side the shipping label. It took them 2 days to get back to my email and never answered the phone. So I'm guessing they expected me to keep my dead black shriveled up turtle. I had a picture of it dead and they would not accept it. So yeah, screw this company.

THORNTON, COLORADO -- Update on my Chinese water dragon I bought back in July. He's doing good. Took him in for his snot rubbing. Got that treated with medicine and he's healed, but he does have teeth shown, but it gives him character. He did developed some swelling in his legs, treated that as well, but's it's going down slowly and he is doing good.

Great Roaches

ASHBURN, VIRGINIA -- While I can't speak for their reptiles, I've bought Dubia roaches from them twice now, and have been the best website I've ordered them from. Sizes are appropriate, and on this last order, extras and some roach food/supplements were thrown in, which I appreciate. Plan on making this my go-to feeder shop.

SACRAMENTO, ILLINOIS -- Ordered two frogs. Paid $40.00 for overnight shipping. Finally 5 days later received 2 dead frogs! Contacted Blackwater and sent pictures and was told that they voided my live guarantee! WTF! Complete bull crap. They don't honor their own policy and now I'm out my money and no frogs! Stay far away from this company!

RENO, NEVADA -- Beware: They void their “7 day guarantee” because you didn't stay home all day waiting for delivery. Our tarantula was long dead before it even arrived and we were charged over $30 for shipping. Look at the online reviews. There are many many dissatisfied customers. Shop elsewhere!!

Bought 2 turtles from them and both turtles arrived dead!!! The packing was awful!!! Yup... I got my refund back but they don't refund the shipping cost, pretty much I wasted $45 in 2 dead turtles. Never again will buy anything from Back Water Reptiles. Just go online or youtube and you will see too many case of dead animals arriving from Back Water Reptiles!!!

I Wanted a Hatchling and I Got a Grown Ass Snake

OHIO -- I was suppose to get a hatchling python. And I got a rather larger snake. It could of been a mix up but they said they're hatchling. Are 12-15 inches. But the picture is her next to a ruler. But she's aggressive like she never been around a person before... I guess she isn't very tamed... And I honestly don't think she knows how to eat live food... Ima see how she does with thawed ones.
