HOLLISTER, CALIFORNIA -- I took out a loan with CitiFinancial and I regret it every day. If I am one day late I am subjected to phone calls at work and messages left on my home phone which I never return. They have even resorted to sending me notices in the mail. They also had the nerve to contact my niece who is listed as a reference!

I finally got so sick of it that I left a rather nasty voicemail advising them that I would contact an attorney and file an harassment complaint against the company if they continued with their behavior and to never, ever contact my references.

It has gotten to the point that when I hear one of those familiar annoying voices I delete the message. I have even taken a passive-aggressive stance by sending payments late so it annoys the you-know-what out of them. I know they charge a $10 fee, but I love to think of these three nitwits sitting in their offices just waiting to place another one of their insipid phone calls. If they are associated with CitiGroup may their company be sent packing.

We bought a car in June 2007 and we ended up financing with them. What a mistake we made but we needed a car and our credit was not good. First I can say is never get behind with them because they will call everyone including your mother and tell them your personal business. They asked my mom to make the payment for us. She is not on the loan. They told my boss, my husband's coworkers, that we are behind. Our roommate was told our business.

When you make an arrangement with them do not ever give them your account numbers because they do not honor their own agreements. I made several arrangements with Ricardo who is the one who called everyone and told them our business. They just did what they wanted and I ended up closing my account at the bank to stop the cycle. When I told the next person who called us what happened they tried to say I was wrong. I told her everything including about the charges I got from when they were trying to get into my account.

I told her I protected myself by closing and I would never trust them again. I told them I would only pay them with a money order and that made them mad. I told them calling me 10 times a day or telling people my business, not to mention it violates the privacy acts etc., she got mad and tried to tell me I was wrong. Then I quoted her the rules they violated. I got silence. I asked her if she wanted to proceed. I am getting caught up. My hubby has a health issue that has put us behind. I tell all this company is bad news.

Citifinancial is full of **, they overcharge you with interest and when you call them back they act like they can't find you in their system, but they don't have a problem taking your money. Don't ever get any type of loan from them. I would rather get a payday loan before I get a loan from them. I thank GOD I no longer have to deal with them ever again. Worst nightmare.

I need to get a copy of my auto lien release that I misplaced about 6 years ago, and can't seem to find anyone at CitiFinancial to get that sent to me. Does anyone have an email address and phone # so I can obtain that? Thank you!

I paid off the account but they said they didn't have my car title.

I took out a 6 year car loan and decided to pay it off early. I was told that even though I want to pay my car of 27 months early I will be responsible for ALL interest that WOULD HAVE accrued during that time. Now I must call a lawyer and take them to court. RUN FROM THEM!!!

MARIETTA, GEORGIA -- I currently have a personal loan with Citifinancial. I am having serious financial difficulty, and am not able to keep up the payments for my loan. I would like to know if there is some way I could reduce the total owed on the loan, so that I could have much more manageable monthly payments.

BOWIE -- I filled out an application over the phone and I was supposed to be called in 2 business days. No one called. So I called them back and they claim I had no information on file. So I told him my info again and in less than 2 minutes I was denied. I know two white guys that work with me and told their credit was worse than mine and they got approved for more money than I asked for. Go figure. Citifinancial is a racial profiling company.
