I had my daughter at HCGH on January 28, 2010. My husband completed the paperwork for her SSN and birth certificate that same day and gave it to the hospital. Six weeks later, HCGH has still failed to file her information and so there is no record of her being born. This is not merely a clerical error or an oversight. When we called to inquire, we were told they routinely do not file newborn paperwork on time and that they are at least six weeks behind.
MARYLAND -- To help keep me as a potential future customer, I would like the following: I want both the Hospital billing Department and the collection agency write to me clarifying that the bill is paid and no damage has occurred to my credit record. At the very least I would like a response from your company regarding this incident. Thank you for your time.
