FLORIDA -- In desperate search for Medical Insurance due to 1. a missed COBRA payment and 2. being turned down for individual health insurance, I looked online for major medical insurance. I was quickly contacted by Ed ** at Premier Health Insurance 1-877-883-9404. He was caring, informative and ultimately a CON artist. He "sold" me a solution which was to put me in a "group plan" with other uninsurable people in my same boat. He suggested I purchase life and dental to go along with the plan in order to get my medical insurance processed quickly. The plan sounded great – it would cover pretty much everything except for maternity and the price was reasonable.

I promptly signed up but when I received my "insurance cards" a month later it was obvious that it was NOT a medical insurance plan but an association with some medical discounting and very very limited help. When I called Premier Health back the "helpful salesperson" was nowhere to be found... I ended up going up the chain and cancelling the ridiculous policy. This organization is a SCAM and NUMEROUS complaints about them can be found in a quick Google search. Shame on me for not researching them more before giving them my credit card info.
