MISSOURI -- I was absolutely astonished to learn this morning that my Valentine's Day roses for my wife were being delivered to her work by FedEx...in a box...with ads on it! Nowhere during the ordering or delivery options process does ProFlowers mention FedEx delivery. In fact, their delivery options page specifies "florist delivery options" (which I might add I paid an additional $26.00 for)!

I am so disappointed in these flowers! I have always used my local florist in the past. This year I thought I would give ProFlowers a try - Big mistake. They have completely ruined what I thought would be a great surprise for my wife. I am actually embarrassed! I will now have to go out and buy flowers to make up for the flowers I sent her. Do not use ProFlowers - you have been warned.

Valentine's Day Disappointment!!!
By -

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA -- My wonderful husband placed an order on January 26, 2006 for a Valentine's Day delivery and of course Proflowers "guaranteed" delivery on the 14th. Needless to say, the 14th came but no flowers. My husband called to find out what happened and they blamed UPS for not picking up the order but promised that it would be delivered today the 15th. Once again, no flowers! My husband called again and they said "Oh well UPS had lost a bunch of orders" but for sure I would get it tomorrow - two days after Valentine's Day! I have since cancelled two pending orders with them and will NEVER order from them again.

Buyer Beware/Not As Advertised

CONNECTICUT -- I went this route last year, hoping all would be as in that nice TV ad. No way. Flowers showed up late in the (chosen) day. Not arranged but in a box. Small roses. Not very fresh, which I read is a major complaint. Red roses were already darkened. Forget about the time they say the flowers last. They had to be tossed the next day. I won't be ordering from them this year. Just want to get the word out. Buyer beware.

The Worst Service

The worst service, they fail to deliver orders, offering an apology, and when they have been given a second chance, they again fail to deliver my order.

Substitutions

NATIONAL -- Very dissatisfied with the Mother's Day bouquets I ordered. I expected substitutions, I did not expect that all the flowers except 3 roses would be substituted with crappy looking daisies that looked picked from someone's front yard. Huge rip-off, but I guess that's the price I pay for waiting to order. Will never use this service again.

Advised last minute by email - can't deliver flowers for a funeral
By -

I ordered flowers online Thursday, for delivery to a Cairo, IL funeral home Saturday (they had no delivery on Sunday, the day of the funeral). On Saturday 1:30 pm, they emailed me and said they couldn't deliver until Monday after the funeral. Offered 20% off for Monday or money back. Took money back but now in a jam for Sunday. Losers, will never do business with them again. Be advised.

Ruined Valentines Day

Ordered a dozen red roses for my girlfriend for Valentine's Day. Didn't mind paying the special delivery charge for V-Day. Flowers never got delivered, never got a phone call explanation. I called the next day and they told me that they couldn't deliver a lot of flowers because they had too many orders. I asked why they had a special delivery charge if they weren't going to hire more drivers and why I was never informed, operator was stumped at those tough questions. Will never use them again.

Excellent Flowers From ProFlowers.

Placed an online order May 7, 2010 for Mother's day (9th). Though I paid extensively for my procrastination (as expected), the flowers were delivered as promised on Sunday morning. It is now May 16, 2010, and all of the flowers still look as though they were just cut from a rose bush. I'm not even sure if I should order flowers for my anniversary this coming Friday, because they're still in such great shape! I will never use another online company.

Can This Company Be Sued or Shut Down?

I've never used Proflowers before and after reviewing all these comments I'm very scared. I'm sending flowers to my mother-in-law in Bakersfield, CA. I live in Colorado and wanted to surprise her on mother's day. I hope she receives them on time. I will repost if I have a good or bad experience to let the consumers out there of my outcome.

Guaranteed Delivery a JOKE

Ordered roses for the wife. They charged me extra for "Guaranteed Delivery". I set the delivery date for Friday the 12th to make sure it had time if anything went wrong. HA! It is not yet delivered and now it is the day after Valentines!!
