OHIO -- The performance of the Q-See video camera is greatly overrated on TigerDirect web catalog. The camera's picture was poor on a regular TV. I strongly advise buyers to avoid this camera. TigerDirect refunded money but required 2 phone calls and 3 weeks.
PASADENA, TEXAS -- Bought 3 items - they each had 2 rebates. I got 4 in about average time. After 11 weeks, the last two still had not arrived. I called Tigers sister Co – “OnRebate.” They said it would be an additional 8 weeks because I took the standard rebate (as opposed to the one where they get a cut). I called Tiger to complain, they said they would check and would call back. They called back today and said now it would be 10 weeks. I will never buy from them again.
I've had from fair to good luck with rebates with these folks before, but this last one has dragged on for six months! The company they contract out the rebates to asked for my address - then asked for it again in an email that had the reply to the previous request for an address. Very frustrating.
NAPERVILLE, ILLINOIS -- On 07-26-01 I ordered a motherboard/CPU package. The price was $109.99 and a $20.00 rebate was offered by mail. I promptly followed the instructions and submitted the rebate form with a copy of my receipt. As of 12-01-01 I still have not received the rebate. Emails to your customer service department have been ignored. To help keep me as a potential future customer, I would like the following: I want the $20.00 rebate that was promised. At the very least I would like a response from your company regarding this incident. Thank you for your time.
