Flowers? What Flowers?

BROOKLYN, NEW YORK -- I'm just devastated that 1800flowers.com would take your money and not even live up to there guarantee of "available for same day delivery". I'm just at a lost for words. They failed to deliver my Valentine's day order on 2/14 or 2/15 mind when I placed the order it said that it was available for same day delivery. I placed the order on 2/12/2008 and received a confirmation of the order on the same day.

When I called them tonight on 2/15/2008 they're telling me that it will be delivered on Monday 2/18/2008. Monday is a holiday. I'm not at work on that day and neither will she and I know dang well she is not going to accept a Happy Valentines Day gift on that day! I don't want that sorry ** apology they gave me. I'm stuck but I will be disputing the charges! You want to make a woman mad on Valentine's, try no flowers, no card or teddy bear, and see what happens!

Very Poor Service - Will Never Use Again

ASTORIA, NEW YORK -- I made 2 large orders for Valentine's day on the 10th of February. As I used this company before and everything went okay. This time I spent $300 for my wife and mother. By 5 pm on the 14th none of them received their order and I became very concerned and rushed over to their location in Astoria, NY. They told me "There is no guarantee on the time for delivery, the latest is 10 pm."

I asked what of the businesses that close at 5 pm? She replied, "You have to speak to my manager." Ironically he wasn't there at the time. So the next day came and the flowers finally got there. What the hell is the point, the day is over, the mood is gone and I'm out $300. I will never use this company again and I will spread the word so that no one else will go through what I did. So not worth it.

Valentine's Day Ruined

NEW YORK -- I ordered a basket Feb. 6, and said it was going to a business. You'd figure the business selection and ordering it early would be enough to have it delivered earlier in the day. The woman delivering, calls after 5 pm on Valentine's Day to my girlfriend asking if she was still there, then saying she will bring it to her apt. Flowers were never received. I got a delivery confirmation email last night though saying they were delivered! Customer service doesn't put me on hold and keeps hanging up, yes hangs up!

I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and may call my credit card company to see what they can do about the payment since customer service won't pick up. I've posted this review into the comments of another bad review from yesterday. Please, let's all contact the NY BBB (that's where they are located). Should I call my credit card company to get a refund, or will that cause me more problems than waiting it out?

MIAMI, FLORIDA -- Ordered a flower arrangement to be the delivered the day before Mother's Day. When Mother's day came around and my mom hadn't still received her flowers, I contacted this company. They told me that the flower shop that was supposed to deliver the flowers did not have the base that I had ordered (and they didn't even bother to call me the day before to tell me this). They said that the flowers would be delivered the next day. I spoke with my mom again the following Thursday and she said "thank you" for the flowers that she received that day. I will never do business with them again.

Disgusting Practices!

SEATTLE, WASHINGTON -- I have ordered twice with this website, and after the last order I will never use it again. I ordered what was supposed to be a fairly big beautiful bouquet (medium size according to the picture), expecting it to look just like the advertised picture. Instead the recipient got something that loosely resembled what I ordered, only much smaller. Needless to say I am extremely disappointed as either the pictures of their products are misleading or the florists that they employ take some serious creative freedoms. What was supposed to be a happy occasion turned into something rather unpleasant.

I will not be ordering from this website in the future and I will definitely discourage family and friends from using their services. To top it off, when I contacted their customer services, they completely disregarded it and tried to blame it on me by telling me that I ordered the wrong size!!! Even though the picture of the bouquet clearly said medium on it! Do not order from them, as not only they will rip you off, they will also try to blame you for their mistake!

NEW YORK, NEW YORK -- I received a passcode for $20 off next order for 1-800Flowers. I tried to use it four times on the website and the code was invalid. I called about the problem four times and put on hold four times. I spoke to two people who could not help me. After 1 hour, I finally spoke to a person who could place the order by phone. Very poor service. Will not use 1-800Flowers in the future.

Paid premium delivery cost for Saturday delivery but didn't arrive until the following week. So much for guaranteed satisfaction slogan. Find another source or use a local florist.

Bad quality flowers BE AWARE !!!!

I ordered a flower arrangement for somebody out of town, when she received it and took a picture for me I was surprised because it was a much cheaper smaller arrangement than I ordered and paid for. I called the CS and they were useless, the florist that delivered even called the recipient to verify and was told that the flowers were fine!! Hell most recipients don't know what was ordered so they all like what they see. I would never ever order from these guys again, bad quality bad CS and no solution!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Missed Out On Mother's Day

FORT WORTH, TEXAS -- My daughter saved up her money and ordered Mother's Day flowers a week ahead of time. They never arrived, so I got to be the recipient of a tearful phone call from my disappointed child. Mother's Day got to suck twice. THEN she had a hard time getting a refund. I will never use this service.
