CHICAGO, ILLINOIS -- I ordered a double sided booth for our school library.We didn't have the money to go with another company.
In fact we ordered it with donations from the staff and teachers for the principal for Christmas. The order allowed us to select a grey and green scheme that matched our school colors really well. It also allowed us to get a double booth at the price of a single. We received a response that they were changing our colors to an orange red upholstery color with our green vinyl.
After arguing with them about colors, we went with a substitute that wasn't even available on the order form. By the way, to get any material covering on a booth that clearly came with it was an extra $95. Then we received it this week, and it is a single.
I have my confirmation that says I ordered a double booth.Their response when we contacted them was that of course a double booth would cost significantly more than a single and we only paid for a single so there is nothing they can do about it.
CHICAGO, ILLINOIS -- We placed an initial "quick ship" order that took a month for them to ship. Decent product at a decent price. They assured us it was a 1 time deal only to find complaint after complaint on the internet.
We placed a second order, again quick ship with the same results|. Only this time they entered the wrong product". We received a confirmation from the web site of the order that was correct|. Apparently their web site does not plug directly into their own system and the order has to be re-entered/. They entered a similar, but different product (that did not match our first order).. Then they blamed us for the error even though we had a confirmation page and refused to refund anything or replace any item?.
Then their "customer service" got involved!. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. If you get Issac L as your representative escalate immediately unless you like dealing with gross incompetence (I understand why he will not give out his last name).
CHICAGO, ILLINOIS -- Although this firm over promised and under delivered as far as delivery times were concerned, the end result merits high marks. For what we paid, the furniture was just gorgeous and it all came in really good shape, with the chairs assembled and ready to go.
I was impressed by their selection on the website, and the quality of the chairs compared to what we've ordered in the past is strikingly better. The delivery delay was inexcusable, but I would rather get high quality goods late, than junk the day after I order it.
My lesson learned from this experience: make sure to order items with plenty of time to spare as shipping might be delayed for some reason or another.
CHICAGO, ILLINOIS -- WARNING!!! THIS COMPANY WILL PUT YOU OUT OF BUSINESS! They have had our order since July, it is now October. $26,000.00 in furniture. I too have been lied to about when my order was actually going to ship. Keeps moving up by a week and has since August 24. I can't open my business and they are very close to putting me out of business due to their exceptionally poor business practices. I would tell everyone NOT to use this company, they will not deliver. The worst vendor I have ever dealt within my life and I have been working with vendors for 30 years. I have been lied too, hung up on, been treated very rudely and still have no idea if I am ever going to get my furniture. I too have emails with their lies and intend to file legal action. I know I am not the first. I have three more restaurants to build and they will get none of my business.

CHICAGO, ILLINOIS -- On 4/27/2009 purchased 15 table top was invoiced for $2,566.44 which included freight change of 2446.94. When product finally arrived end of September the tables were damage and return and noted on the bill of lading in accordance with invoice direction. Because of the duration of getting product and the coninous emails and telephone calls I decided to purchase tables from another internet vendor, and glad I did. What Affordable seating did was charge me for return shipment and restocking fee. This was reported to BBB and Affordable seating did not respond. I'm now going to tell the world this company say one thing and does what they want. I will never do business with them again and hopefully this will be read and help someone else to choice anyone other than Affordable seating.
CHICAGO, ILLINOIS -- I'm opened a bar and grill and Affordable Seating was recommended to me by a friend who is also in the restaurant business. I usually don't like ordering such big items from the internet, but I could see that the chairs he bought from them were high quality, so I took a chance. I was not disappointed. The bar stools I ordered are well-made and I saved a bundle!
CHICAGO, ILLINOIS -- It took me three weeks to get furniture I ordered from Affordable Seating that was supposed to take 7-14 days to arrive, but I guess when accounting for business days it wasn't too far behind. The prices were good on sale items which actually were available in a lot of options. No need to custom make stuff that nobody notices anyway. This is good, solid, functional furniture. I saved $10 per chair by going with the sale version.
