KING OF PRUSSIA, PENNSYLVANIA -- Sofa looked okay when we got it. But within a year the pillows were out of shape and flat. I just had them refilled with the kind of foam that should have been in them in the first place. It cost me two hundred dollars more to make them right. Beware how these sofas are made. Actually the whole retail furniture industry notoriously skimps on the material used in the seat and back cushions. Only custom made has the quality of yesteryear.
NEW YORK -- I purchased a dining room table and 6 chairs at Arhaus 15 years ago. This set was rarely used... 2-3 times a year for special events. During the first year a guest literally fell off a chair that broke under her. Chairs continued to deteriorate as the years went on. Screws fell out, screws were missing, joints opened up... on and on. My fault for not bringing this to their attention right from the start. If you don't report problems within 14 days of purchase they don't want to hear about your problem. I would not recommend Arhaus.
THOUSAND OAKS, CALIFORNIA -- Consumers should be aware of how poorly Arhaus treats their employees!
93% turnover is pretty bad. I am a degreed professional and have never worked in a more unprofessional, petty, or poor cultured environment.
All this company cares about is getting your money!! And the damages and mishaps during the delivery of furniture are endless. Beautiful stores but that's about it!! Sales people are overbearing due to the pressure put upon them to make their sales goals which leads to a hostile environment!
COLUMBUS, OHIO -- I bought 2 beds, bedside tables, dresser and bedding and a coffee table and end table for the living room. I had excellent design advice and have been totally pleased with the furniture. The color wasn't what I had hoped for on one of the beds and Arhaus replaced it for me without any difficulty.
DENVER, COLORADO -- I recently purchased the Kensington Bench in Brown with the understanding from the description that it was "Handcrafted from solid reclaimed pine that has been salvaged from old doors, homes, boats and barns in rural farming regions". I am not sure exactly which rural farming regions the handcrafted pine is from as it came with a massive "Made in China" sticker attached to the back. Disappointing quality. The item is much darker than pictured and strongly resembles a piece on Overstock for 1/10 of the price!
