LAKE JACKSON, TEXAS -- Bought my granddaughter a new zte warp phone in November, early Xmas gift. Got it at Cricket, activated for 1 month and didn't renew. She doesn't care about talking, she likes to text and play games and take pictures. Been having trouble with the phone blinking and freezing and won't turn on. Took it back to Cricket and she said since the air time wasn't active the warranty was canceled. So too bad for me. I don't recall anyone saying if it wasn't active then there would be no warranty.1 Replies - Latest reply on 02/14/2014Add reply
PROVO, UTAH -- After waiting 15 minutes to report my Cricket HTC Desire phone had been lost. I was told that there is nothing they could do for me. I was treated by the person who was helping me that I was wasting his time. I was told to by a new phone or leave the store. The young man helping me could care less about my problem. I held my temper and walked out. I am on a family plan with three phones. I won't be much longer.Add reply

ANYWHERE IN USA, ARKANSAS -- Our company had several phones lines with Cricket. We cancelled EVERYONE. I personally will never have Cricket service and neither will the company I work for. There services are TERRIBLE!!!!! They don't want to take a credit card payment, good luck getting a representative on the phone, and don't expect to get a bill in the mail. I hope this company goes down like the Titanic!!! There is nothing good about this company. Absolutely terrible, worst I have ever dealt with!!! We now have all of our cell phones with another carrier. They don't even deserve one star .... horrible horrible service. They need 0 (zero) because that is what Cricket wireless is a big fat ZERO!!!!! and that is how much money they get from us now. We were customers for well over 10 years!!Add reply

HOUSTON, TEXAS -- On June 7, 2012 we purchased a cell phone at a Cricket store. Two weeks later the phone stops working. We take the phone back within the 30 days warranty. Instead of doing straight exchange they charged us for the increase price on the same model, a restocking fee, an activation fee, and warranty. We disagreed with the manager to no avail. She was rude and told us " there is nothing I can do, this is cricket's policy.

We were quiet upset, the discussion got heated, she started yelling "you are not respecting me and I'm going to call the police." The reason she threatened us isn't disrespect it's because she didn't like it when we told her,"This store should not be called Cricket, it should be called Crooked and you should have ski mask over your head, because you're the ring leader!" Every company that we have ever
done business with makes good on their warranties without charge. Be careful if you deal with Cricket they have an inferior product and poor customer services.
It is impossible to get any help or information when you manage to reach a live person by phone - they know nothing and pretend they do know something - give you information you would not believe - like a phone text received from Cricket directly was wrong and should be disregarded - going to cut my losses let the timer run out 1 Replies - Latest reply on 04/11/2012Add reply
OHIO -- I was calling around to find internet service other than cable. I've never dealt with Cricket, but I know a lot of people who have their phones, a few had told me the store here doesn't answer their phone. They don't, so I drove out there and while I was there the guys cell phone rang and he answered it. Guess that was more important. Needless to say I bought the internet thingy and it's so slow I hardly ever use it. I am suppose to get a $30 rebate, but when I went to fill out the paper a few weeks later, it was written in Spanish. I can't read Spanish, so I drove out there because they don't answer the phone and he said they didn't have any in English. The cable guy is coming Monday! I'll also stick with Verizon, I know I'd never get one of their phones.

I switched to Cricket for the low price, bad idea. Problem after problem with the phone and service. Going to switch to a more reliable carrier. Don't waist your time or money on Cricket. 1 Replies - Latest reply on 01/07/2012Add reply
PORTLAND, OREGON -- I paid in advance in October for my November bill. Cricket then contacted me saying they had not received my payment. I faxed them the confirmation of payment they sent to me and my bank statement showing the money was taken out of my account by Cricket. I then decided enough was enough and took my service to another company requesting a refund for my pre payment. This was on the day before Thanksgiving. I then was told I had to yet again fax the proof of payment over to them within 24 hours or I would not get my refund. I spent my holiday seeking a fax machine to fax this info over to them. It is now December 26th and I have not yet received my refund. Cricket states that I need to again fax over the proof of payment again in within 24 hours to get my refund. I had been a customer for years before this and am incredibly upset that they sent me a card in the mail statig that I need not worry about my past due charges if I want to come back to them. WHAT PAST DUE CHARGES? They owe me. 4 Replies - Latest reply on 12/26/2011Add reply
