Do NOT deal with this company
SHELBY, NORTH CAROLINA -- I had service with this company for a little over two years. As far as the signal strength and actual service is concerned, I really had no complaints. However, dealing with their customer service department ... read full review2 Replies - Latest reply on 05/24/2012
Dish online is a huge disappointment
BOULDER CREEK, CALIFORNIA -- I recently reported a broken DVR. Dish recommended replacing it with a unit that is "Sling Enabled," allowing me to watch DVR recordings from my computer (through my home LAN). I agreed, but told them ... read full review1 Replies - Latest reply on 12/12/2012

This is the worst service ever! I have only been a dish customer for 8 days and it has been a disaster. Today, I called the service department, asked for the manager, who came on the call, named Paul, ID LS6. Within 15 seconds of the call, he rudely interrupted us, gave us much attitude and then hung up on us. And this is Dish's idea of a manager? OMG! We have called several times and have been told several different things by several different people each time. All lies. Now they want me to pay to disconnect for a service promise they have yet to fulfill! Serious? If you are reading this and are considering ordering Dish Network, DON'T! Save yourself the heartache, pain and money. Trust me on this one. Don't do it. 2 Replies - Latest reply on 09/19/2012Add reply
Why can't you change billing date so I won't pay late every month. Makes me look bad. I've been trying to get it changed for over a year now. You can't give me a good reason why you can't change it, what's up with that? 3 Replies - Latest reply on 05/15/2012Add reply
After completeing our new home we contacted Dish Network about having our service relocated to our new home, all the advertisment shows dish mover free of charge, not so fast when we called we were told there would be a $100.00 fee for the move. After much talk back and forth with the arragant service person we cancelled and servive, free I don, t think so, friendly customer service, no way. #1 in customer service, I'd hate to deal with #2. 2 Replies - Latest reply on 05/20/2011Add reply
Horrible Return Process
EL PASO, TEXAS -- I consider myself a pretty easy-going person. Typically if I encounter a problem with a company I shrug it off and figure it's not worth the time to make a big deal about it.
NOW IS THE TIME TO MAKE ... read full review3 Replies - Latest reply on 05/29/2013
NEW MEXICO -- I would like for people to know that I recently canceled my service with dish-network because of a fee of $100.00.That I would have to pay for a movers package to have it transferred to a new address. This is wrong that a company would not care to lose customers because of this. Which is funny I paid a 100.00 More to get of my contract. When speaking to a supervisor josh, he went on to say" sorry but this is what dish-net-work charges! Even though I was never told about this, he seemed rude and did care. So mean while customers should know that you will be charged a fee if you move!
