CONROE, TEXAS -- I got this insurance about 3 weeks ago, but they failed to mention that there are NO major coverages (maternity, dental, etc.) so once I realized that, I called to cancel my plan less than two weeks later. They assured me that my policy was cancelled and that my refund would be in my account 3-5 business days later. I called 7 business days later because my money still hasn't arrived, and they're now saying that there was no request for a refund as if I were just going to be giving away my money for free. They tried to wait until my 30 days were up so they would no longer have to send my refund.

NEW JERSEY -- I was online shopping for health insurance. Called this company who told me they were able to provide coverage at a reasonable premium. After filling out the application and providing payment information, they sent some documents to be e-signed. After signing the documents the guy found out he had sent the wrong documents and proceeded to send some others.

Before signing the correct documents to authorize the transaction I had a change of heart and decided not to proceed. I told them I'm not going to proceed. As soon as I got off the phone with them they billed my account for the full amount. I called them back to ask them why were they billing my account. The guy I spoke to told me that he wasn't the account manager and he couldn't get in contact with the account manager. Long and short they stole my money. But I will tell you that you have messed with the wrong person. These people are thief!!! They belong in jail!! Why are they allowed scam people out of their hard earned money!!!

Insurance Fraud, Do Not Trust!

FORT LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA -- I recently called as a worried mother trying to provide health insurance for my older daughter. A representative named "Alexis" spoke with me and gave me some information about "health insurance" and sold me this as a PPO plan. This is a DISTORTED FALSE representation. DO NOT FALL FOR IT. It's a scam, they charged me $125 for the application fee plus $202 for the supposed plan. Prior to this the representative "Alexis" told me I would receive the information on my email and the identification card and other documents on the mail in 2 weeks.

And I would get everything by text...since I didn't receive a confirmation or the policy in my email I called back immediately, but the representative had "conveniently" just left and I was the last customer. I went to BBB (Better Business Bureau) and saw all the reviews. Sadly I found out I had been scammed. I will of course file a complaint with the BBB, but I am honestly tired of these companies taken advantage of honest people who are just trying to either find a service, health insurance or whatever it is you are looking for.

I think it's time for some change. How is it possible that this company is still open with so many bad reviews, complaints and being under investigation for Fraud. If somebody on this website wants to sue them, please reply to this and we can get in contact. I have my lawyers ready to go.

TAMPA, FLORIDA -- Same as every single review on this horrible company. Hard to believe this place is a real company in America. I really thought this was a few guys in a garage somewhere in Iran. How are they still able to steal money from honest people. I'm not sure and how are they not shut down yet. They got me for over $600.00. I've called to cancel 4 times and it just never happens. I called within the 30 days to cancel with a no problem money back guarantee. Really didn't wanna cancel my bank account because all my bills are coming out of it. Had no choice.

Glad all these people including myself are being forced to pay for medical insurance from a place claiming to be from our gov't discounted insurance website. They sound legit. I was on the phone going through plans for almost a hour. It was the last day of open enrollment so I had no choice. Was so excited that I got insurance finally and I showed my mother in law and she immediately called me back and told me it's a well known scam.

I called to cancel with no issue. Never received my money back or contact. Never been so upset in my life. Instead of these kids shooting up schools they need to visit these lovely people ripping off hard working people being forced to buy insurance from a place claiming to be the best insurance Obamacare has to offer.

TAMPA, NORTH CAROLINA -- I clicked on to find healthcare and received a phone call a minute after finished the form. I thought I was speaking to an insurance agent not a third party. I ended up paying 403.00 for no insurance but a fees. I was talked into insurance that is terrible. I am receiving doctors bills for insurance that covers nothing. I am hurting now and can't see a doctor. These people should be looked by the insurance commissioner of NC and other states. Dont trust a word they say. My guy told me I would be able to call him back anytime but his ext doesn't even work. I hope karma gets all of them.

DO NOT EVER EVER EVER USE THESE CROOKS. I wish I had read all the nasty, negative, horrible reviews before I used them. I hope there is some kind of class action lawsuit against them someday. Not only did they lie to me and deceive me, they were insanely un-helpful in canceling the four ** policies they signed me up for, telling me it was all things I needed and all under one policy. I spent weeks trying to cancel all the freaking crap they signed me up for not knowing I'd be dealing with 4 different companies. Every single EXPENSIVE health related thing they signed me up for DID NO GOOD and absolutely was horrendous. NEVER. Seriously, NEVER use these evil people.

Misrepresentation, Bait and Switch, Fraud and Deception

FLORIDA -- Once I entered my contact information online, within 10 seconds I was contacted by "Nick" a "licensed insurance agent". I told his specifically I needed insurance that would cover pre-existing conditions. We went over our pre existing conditions, the medications we take, the amount of office visits we usually have for our conditions.

During the conversation I was transferred to Tiffany, a benefit specialist, we also spoke about preexisting conditions. When I received the paperwork, it stated that the coverage WOULD NOT COVER ANY PREEXISTING CONDITIONS. They straight lied, lied, lied. Once the lie was discovered, I tried to reach the same people again and was blocked at every attempt.

My real complaint is against the Department of Insurance in the states where this is going on. With this many complaints, with the organization using several different names, with the amount of deception and misrepresenting, how on earth are the still allowed to do business??? This is more than a buyer beware, this is a company using salespeople trained to deceive. I called and spoke to a supervisor on 10/4/17 and she was very well versed at continuing the lie. Departments of Insurance are set up to protect the public, why are they failing to do so?

TAMPA, FLORIDA -- I paid my health insurance in advance. My coverage was to start 12/01/2016. I had several appointments on 12/3/2016 and 12/08/2016. They refused to cover any of it. Their reasoning was as follows: "We are not responsible for any coverage during the first week of your coverage". They would not pay for my medical appointments even tho I paid for coverage and was within my plan and received my welcome card and beginning coverage date of 12/01/2016. They are scam artists. They will not cover you. These people need to be put in prison. This is sick and needs to end.

Insurance Misinformation

MIAMI, NEVADA -- The worst health insurance ever. They do not provide any service that they promised to cover at all. I paid about $786.00 for registration and a monthly payment. However I went to see my Dr. Office to do annual check up none of the things they said they will cover was not covered. I end up paying out of my pocket for the whole visit.

Called the insurance to cancel my policy got running around for 20 minutes and told me it was canceled. After a couple of months later I got another bill and told them I have called and canceled it and requested a refund, unfortunately they are trying to convince me to re sign for the insurance again. After I had fought with them for 30 minutes they canceled it but still refused to give me my money back. I am forced to talk to a lawyer to get my money back. Never ever sign up any thing with this people. They are a scamper. Check their reviews. All of them are trained to cheat as much as they can. Stay away from this insurance company.

Beware This Isn't Insurance It's a Discount Program

MIAMI, FLORIDA -- I'm telling my story today so others don't make the same mistake. I'm a recently minted entrepreneur, my previous employer's cobra ran out in May 2017 necessitating me to get insurance on my own. I made the unfortunate mistake of applying for healthcare quotes through a website I thought was the Affordable Healthcare Marketplace (Marketplace official website is: www.Healthcare.gov). Here is where I met HII (Health Insurance Innovations). In my conversation with the HII representative I told him that I was a healthy 51 year old with no preexisting conditions needing insurance to cover me in case of unforeseen life debilitating medical events (Cancer, tumors, etc...).

He sold me a policy for $300 a month that would cover 70 percent of any medical expenses with no deductibles. The problem is that, this is important pay close attention, they don't pay anything. The 70 % is only based on a discounted rate they negotiate with the in network providers. If you go out of network it's 100% on you and good luck with the network. No one seems to know the network. As for their ability to get you a good discounted rate let's take their prescription program as an example of the performance you can expect.

My 90 day prescription of ** 20mg which use to cost me less than a dollar with my previous plan will now cost me over $100.00. The pharmacist pointed me to www.goodrx.com a free website to get discounted drugs. The price on GoodRx.com is about $40. Luck for me. I don't need any other medical services and was able to get a policy from Obamacare for $66 that is comparable to my previous plan. HII is not insurance. Run don't walk away.
