BRONX, NEW YORK -- No customer service solution: Charged me 3 months after cancelling. After 30 hours of calling they suspended my account (So called unlimited). I lost my home phone number because they did not allow my new company to port. They will lower your voice quality as time goes by. I was without my number 3 Months MISSING Call from BANKS CREDIT CARDS and all other places. You want to go with those folks, GOD bless you.

PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA -- They promise one thing and they do something and they overcharge and customer service in real bad. My humble request - do not take this service and I cancel the service, they take the money after that too.

Never in my life have I had such poor customer service. This company is clueless. Their website sucks, they put you on hold forever or transfer your call 4 or 5 times -- Every time I call! Whoever is running this company needs a reality check and needs to be fired.

Lingo Run Away

AUGUSTA, GEORGIA -- I signed up for Lingo. Have not received their equipment. Read reviews. They have F rating with BBB. Called them and cancelled service. They told me I have 14 days to return equipment. I do not even have and if I do not I will be charged $99.00 cancellation fee. I put a large sign at my front door for the UPS not to deliver anything from Lingo. Forget about 30 day free service. This company... in my opinion and I will glad to get this experience behind me, if I can.

Legal action against Lingo

Did anyone initiate any legal action against them? I am going through the same painful process like everyone and getting the threat of disconnection. Lingo could not provide me any proof against their policy (unlimited call) that I broke. Three of my friend and family got disconnected and charged for the service cancellation ($100). Is there any action I can take besides complaining? Anyone?

Phone service is OK but customer service is the worst possible in the world. Try to stay away from them if possible. They took 4 months to cancel my Lingo account. DISGUSTING.

LINGO - Is this a scam?

After two months of service Lingo 'suspended' my line without any explanation. I had sent several emails and left messages - no reply. Even my emails came back with acknowledgement that someone will get back in 2 days. Their days must be longer than ours - no one got back in three weeks. I found out that the only way to stop them from billing my credit card is to change my credit card number. They suck. Got burned.

STERLING, VIRGINIA -- I will never ever suggest anyone to use LINGO as their phone service provider. The advertisement says "unlimited call" but they have disconnected my phone line without my knowledge and now telling me I use it too much and it will take 24 hours to get re-activated. VONAGE is lot better than Lingo. Lingo customer service sucks, horrible, terrible. NO NO NO to Lingo. Please do not waste your time going to LINGO.

MCLEAN, VIRGINIA -- I had Lingo over three years. I did never had problems earlier, but lately it was getting bad tech. support, my phone no is using someone else over the Internet also receiving calls my number. Anyway I called the tech support 2 months ago, no help and they can't do anything. It's matter of privacy so I want to disconnect because people are calling me and they can't do anything about these issues. I hate to see good company goes that bad customer service!

94040, CALIFORNIA -- I have enrolled from Lingo for my home phone service and at the time of enrolling I have 30 days trial period. I returned all the equipment back on time but they still charge me for monthly charges and cancellation fees. I called up repeatedly and been told I will get refund. But nothing happened and the customer service representative have no sense to talk and meet the customer expectation. Lingo really sucks and really bad customer service.
