ROCKFORD, ILLINOIS -- Carpet purchases was defective. Menards sent someone from the carpet mill, (Shaw Industries) to inspect the carpet, who said there was nothing wrong with it. The twist was coming out of it in less than three months & dents from tables & chairs do not rebound. Menards never sent a representative from their own company. In my opinion, they do not stand behind their products.
GLENDALE HEIGHTS, ILLINOIS -- I viewed and purchased a utility shed.. Salesman assured me it had windows as standard. When delivered, no windows. Called them - salesman said his error. Won't give me the shed with windows as ordered, and want to charge me for pickup/return. Also watch their "rebates" - it's for in-store use only, not cash!
MARION, ILLINOIS -- The New Marion Illinois store does not provide carts for the handicapped. In fact when asked a sarcastic clerk said 'none of our stores provide them, and we don't intend to either.' That may be true, but handicapped money spends just as well as able bodied.... and we have more time to shop. Hope they change their mind.
