My wife ordered tulips for her daughter and they arrived droopy and her son ordered roses for his girlfriend and they did not arrive at all. He paid extra for early time delivery and we guess they are still riding in the delivery truck. I suggest no one order flowers in a BOX if you want to make sure your loved one are going to get a nice order.
Watch out for the online ordering process. You are not provided a final summary of charges until the next to last step and they do not provide a method to cancel the order or to return to change your order. Also watch out for all of the add on charges. Make sure you confirm your shipment with the recipient because they left out items on my shipment. Also, the shipment is shipped in a box, not delivered in the open. If you are looking for the surprise effect you will not get it with ProFlowers.com.
Worst quality flowers. Purchased a beautiful looking picture of a bouquet to send to a funeral in Appleton, Wisconsin. Thank goodness the funeral director rejected them - he said they were the worst flowers he had seen in his entire career. They were dead and drooping. Calling customer service I was told they ship directly from the grower - apparently after they have been picked and sat for days.
HOUSTON, TEXAS -- I ordered flowers for my mom and paid the additional $15 charge for them to be delivered on Mother's Day, and that's on top of the regular delivery charge of $15. Flowers never came on Mother's Day. My mom called and arranged a delivery date/time and once again, no flowers. Proflowers should not accept orders for delivery that they cannot satisfy. VERY disappointed!!
I once order from Pro Flowers. The flowers arrived on time and were, without a doubt, some of the prettiest roses I have ever seen. But, there was absolutely no fragrance to the flowers what-so-ever. A friend told me that "hot house" flowers have no fragrance. Had I known this beforehand I would never have ordered the flowers.
