Manager's Behavior
By -

SIOUX FALLS, SOUTH DAKOTA -- I have had an issue with inappropriate conversations between a manager and a teenage employee involving her father and having had an affair with him. First I don't care one way or the other about an affair because I have known this manager for years, and do not believe her. However, I believe that it is inappropriate to have a discussion about your sex life and/or an affair with a child's father at all let alone while they are your employee.

To make matters worse when I talked with the general manager for the city I was told this was a personal matter between her and I. He apparently does care about these children either. And to make matters worse this manager called my house and cussed and swore at me on the answering machine, which was played for this general manager with no recourse for the person who manages these children. In short I would not allow any child of mine to continue to work for this company nor would I ever choke down any of their products.

Disturbing Commercials
By -

I am so offended by the Quiznos commercials that I will Never shop there. I think they are seriously pushing the straight/gay limit with the male talking oven and the male employee. "I'm waiting for it Scott." "Put it in me Scott." I am disgusted and fed up with the push to make homosexuality normal and commonplace. I believe in Love and I do not care what other people do in their homes, I don't think it is any of my business and I do not want to hear about it.

Therefore the idea of man with man or woman with woman or person with animal is just not something I want to have my commercials elude to. Don't ask Don't tell is just fine with me. Live and let live. Don't push your views, ideas, or prejudices on me. Thank You Very Much!

Beware: Coupon Not Honored Correctly
By -

DOVER, DELAWARE -- Was in the Quiznos in Dover DE, at the South Canal location. I had a coupon for a free Toasty Torpedo when I bought a Toasty Torpedo Combo. I ordered a combo, with 3 additional sandwiches anticipating I would actually pay for the combo and 2 sandwiches, the third being free. On the menu board the sandwich was $4, and to make it a combo (add chips and a drink) was an additional $1.99. So the combo I was obligated to buy would have cost $5.99. However, I was charged all ala carte prices. $4 for the sandwich, $1.19 for the chips, and $1.59 for the drink. I got the free sandwich but was overcharged $1.10.

When I brought this to the managers attention I was told that it's a rule "by the corporation", and that in order to use the coupon I had to pay ala carte to make up the combo, and not the actual "combo" pricing. She kept pointing to the coupon and telling me it was "the corporation, the corporation", but nowhere on the coupon does it stipulate that the pricing for this offer is anything other than the 1.99 combo price.

I was getting nowhere, so I came home and called the corporation. Well, the coupon offer is as I thought; You pay the menu combo price of $5.99 and you get a free sandwich. I was told someone would contact that franchise. Apparently for some of their offers you have to pay everything ala carte, but not in this case. But that manager was not budging and didn't even look at the coupon to see what the wording was. There was no reasoning with her, so I'm putting this warning here for anyone who goes in there and comes across this same problem.

Quiznos Coupon Fraud, Food Inconsistent
By -

SIMI VALLEY, CA, CALIFORNIA -- Quiznos coupon fraud and food inconsistency is occurring at the #9609 Quiznos store at 3060 Cochran St. in Simi Valley, CA 93065. If you walk in with a coupon and your friend has no coupon and you both order the same thing, both orders will be the SAME PRICE. I kid you not, we did this! They are total cheats. They just enter an "Open Misc." price of their choosing, take the coupon, "apply" the discount, then your net price is the same as if you hadn't even used the coupon.

I complained to Quiznos Corporate and they just said "the stores are individually owned and operated so there's nothing we can do about it." Well I filed an FTC complaint about it for fraud, so it would have behooved them to take care of this issue while it was small. Also, this store cuts corners everywhere. You will NOT get good value for your money, the portions are much smaller than at other Quiznos and the store is not clean. Avoid this location at all costs.

Poor Service
By -

STEVENSVILLE, MARYLAND -- I would not recommend for anyone to eat at our local Quizno's located in Stevensville, MD 21666. My husband and I went there for lunch one day and after ordering our food and paying for it, One of the employees snatched the food and explained to me that her manager **Name removed** ordered her not to serve me because of a personal disliking of me. I have never acted out against the Quizno's corporation nor have I caused any damage towards that location. I WAS JUST HUNGRY!!!

I explained to the employee that I had already paid and that It didn't matter what her manager had told her because unless Quizno's had an order stating that I could not come on the property that she could not refuse me service. I asked her to please hand me my food (which another employee was holding). She then said "** I'll throw the stuff away" and continued by throwing my sandwiches in a trashcan behind the counter.

I actually called the cops to come to the scene because I was afraid that I was going to lose my temper and actually put my hands on this young child. This location is known for its poor language towards customers and unprofessional attitude. I have since called Quizno's corporation and a formal complaint is being heard by the directors.

Company Policy
By -

DENVER, COLORADO -- I have tried to speak to someone at Quizno's corporate offices about my concerns, but they are absolutely not interested. I think that it is reprehensible for them to throw out food. They act as if throwing out the ends of the bread somehow makes them better. It makes them pretty stupid on two counts. First, there are people starving in this world, even in this country. It seems like a slap in the face to the homeless and others who often go to bed hungry. However, it is also incredibly stupid for another reason. It is a waste of resources. They make a big deal about being unique.

Well, if they had any intelligence or creativity at all, they would find some use for those pieces of bread. One that I can think of is to make homemade croutons. It's not that expensive. For an extra moment while they are making each sandwich, they could make a few cuts to the ends, collect them, and do whatever it takes to turn them into croutons.

I have had homemade, fresh croutons before, and I will sometimes order a salad at certain restaurants (usually local) just to get those croutons. They are also good in soup for those who like that. They could even treat them as an extra special item by letting customers know that when they run out, that's it until the next time they make them fresh.

Good subs Bad franchise! Depends on which location you're going, so trick to hungers!

HOUSTON, TEXAS -- The Quizno in Hammerly Plaza on Gessner in Houston TX, such a bad quality. You can count how many slices of lettuce they put. Bread is toasted, burnt on the edge, but still cold and soggy? How ridiculous! The mesquite chicken sandwich taste yuck. It has skin on it. Never get mesquite chicken like this anywhere else before. No wonder Quizno closed down so many! Luckily I can get some hot and crispy Quizno subs back to Sugar Land.

Cats

The commercial about the cats for Quiznos is the most stupid thing of have seen for a commercial about food. It should be removed immediately. Whoever thought of it should be fired, whoever allowed it to go on TV made Quiznos look really bad. Unlike the other complaints you received I happen to like the sandwiches.
