Be Aware of This (Review: Tire Kingdom)

TALLAHASSEE, FLORIDA -- I went there to ask them to fix my car. Later on they lost my car key and didn't take the responsibility. They keep saying that they don't have the key and they couldn't find it. I towed my car to another auto repair center, but they can't fix it without a key. I went back to Tire Kingdom to ask about the key, and they still saying that the key is not here, and I have to make a new one. WTF? I gave them my car WITH the key, and now it seems like I'm the one who lost it. It's a "Chip key" and it would cost me a lot of money. What should I spend extra money to do that? Don't they have to take care of that? I'm going to call the police officer to help me to deal with this kind of situation.

Inflated Charges and Work Not Done
By -

SALISBURY, NORTH CAROLINA -- I went to Tire Kingdom in Salisbury NC on 11/9/07. Wanting two new tires, all 4 wheels aligned, the brakes checked for wear and an oil change. About an hour later I got a call telling me the brakes had quite a lot of life left. I declined replacing the brake pads. I signed the document authorizing the work to be done with a $4.00 shop charge (For consumables they tell me). Upon returning to pick up the car, what I got was an inflated shop charge from $4.00 to $14.00. Two $20.00 charges from nowhere?

Just an alignment check done nothing actually fixed. (But a full charge for a 4 wheel alignment on the bill). A single print out still indicating the car to be in need of alignment. They were unable to produce the before alignment printout. All four tires inflated to 70 psi. (I found this out after a short ride at 50 mph). I did not pay for the alignment, shop charge of $14.00 or the $40.00. We took the car to another company to have an alignment done, and sure enough his starting numbers were the same as Tire Kingdom had tried to send out the door with.

Don't Know Why You All Were Treated So Badly.

SOUTH MIAMI, FLORIDA -- I really don't know why the folks who are ragging on Tire Kingdom didn't just go to another location. The location near where I live (South Miami, FL) has always treated me fairly, and given good prices and service. I expect the problems they encountered were due to the location's management.

SHELBY, NORTH CAROLINA -- Tire Kingdom in Gastonia tried to tell me that the batteries in all four tire sensors died at the same time. The Tire Kingdom in Shelby badmouthed the branch in Gastonia saying that they were slackers. After getting new tires in Shelby my tire pressure light came on again. I drove 20 miles to Shelby and they tried again to get it to stay off. After leaving it came on again halfway home. Incompetents!

DAVIE FLA 136 SR 84, FLORIDA -- My son, his girlfriend and myself, each time someone goes in for an oil change, we're given a reason why they cannot do it. It can't be done unless other work is done. I will not purchase any additional tires or any other service. I've been a customer for over 20 years. Bye!

GULFPORT, MISSISSIPPI -- Did not turn suspension off and caused my suspension to go out. Poor service. Tried to take one of my old tires that came off of the SUV. Will not use Tire Kingdom again. Caused too much stress in 2011.

The new store in Titusville Fl. scratched my wheels when they dismounted my tires. Called the store manager (I thought that is who you call when you have a problem) was totally blown off and put on hold for someone else. I was given the deer in the headlight look when I showed them. I also had problems with the other Titusville store before, that is why I stopped using them. Never use them again. I would use Wal-Mart first.

HALLANDALE, FLORIDA -- Lazy employee. Could not find me in their system, mind you I have been a customer for over 3 years, could not care less, his response: "Sorry, but I can't find you in the system..." I just walked out, never again. Will take my business elsewhere, matter of fact, Goodyear is across the street and they are bending backwards to get Tire's business and they are succeeding. GO TO GOODYEAR AND SAVE YOURSELF A HUGE HEADACHE!!!
