CHINA -- I purchased a wig from this company and it was the WORST quality wig I have ever seen. I contacted the company and even sent them pictures of the wig, and was told to send it back to them in order to get a refund. The wig only cost $45 and to send it back by US Postal Service, and to obtain the tracking number the company requires would cost me almost $50, and to send it back by UPS it would cost $150.
When I told the company (Wigsbuy) what it would cost me to send it back I was told that the only way I could get a refund was to send it back to them. They offered $10-$15 off the purchase of another wig and I told them I did not want another one because the quality of their wigs were horrible. So now I'm stuck with a wig that I can't wear and can't even give away because it is so poorly made, and in no way resembles the picture on their website. Needless to say, it is going in the trash and I'm out of $45.
I told them that I would write a negative review and that didn't faze them one bit. Do not buy from this company. They are a rip-off and have the worst wigs I have ever seen. Next time I will read the reviews before ordering from another company and wish I had read these reviews before ordering.
CHINA -- Why didn't I read the reviews on this company before order??? Big mistake!! Even though the wig I ordered was under $100 it was not the color that was advertised on their website. It was definitely brown, whereas the advertised wig had red highlights.
I was told it would be too expensive to ship it back (even though the package I received showed a New York City shipping address) and they would let me keep the wig and give me a credit of $10, plus a coupon for $5 on my next order. When I told them that was unacceptable they asked me to send them a picture of the BROWN wig they sent me. I also included the picture from their ad showing a lovely wig with RED highlights. Their next suggestion was that all I needed to do was to style it and use some hairspray and it would make it perfect. Needless to say I would not recommend this company to anyone. I will see if PayPal can get my money back but I'm not holding my breath.
I have alopecia & with the xmas do coming up, a work friend helped me look for a wig to buy. Our web search brought us to Wigsbuy.com. I had looked at hundreds of images of different hairstyles and out of all of them, there was only 1 that I liked. I didn't have enough money in my debit account (luckily!) so put the charge of £107 on my credit card. I live in the UK, so tried to order through a UK site.
When the wig finally arrived I took one look at it and was surprised it had made it through customs as it looked like an animal that had died in the post! I saw that it had come from China and would have never have ordered it from there, if I was aware of that fact. Although I still had to pay £22 Tax, for it to be delivered from DHL apparently through the USA.
The wig I ordered was a shoulder length, dark blond bob, with loose wavy highlights and looked really lovely. The reality was far from that. I am Caucasian and when I had hair, it was poker straight. I wouldn't therefore, knowingly order some unsuitable, over curly monstrosity that made me look like an exhumed Shirley Temple type monster. In fact when I put it on (after checking it for lice), after he had stopped laughing, my partner started calling me 'your honour' as he said it looked like a judge's wig! The 'wig' was also bald at the back. A really nice touch I thought as I reached for the prozac, Did I forget to mention it was also a different colour?
I tried to ring the number provided, which was an answer phone that gives you at least 3 seconds to verbally launch into the long list of obvious discrepancies and you then get cut off! I also tried to send an e-mail from the address provided, which really surprisingly never went anywhere.
I have informed my credit card company and should get the payment refunded and at least I have an expensive monstrosity to put on my head for Halloween. But aside that I feel totally violated financially. Please, please do not buy from this company, they are scam artists who do not give a flying fig about you or providing a good service, they just want your money.
COLUMBUS, GEORGIA -- If it is the last thing I do I will make sure I will shut this site down, I will devote all my time in getting my refund and shutting this site down. I will stop at nothing so please understand. I started losing my hair after returning back from the war zone. As a veteran my money is very valuable and I don't have any to give away. I ordered the wigs on my phone did not see all these bad reviews. Not sure why the site is still active but trust me... I repeat I will not stop. I intend on stalking their site, reporting to every social media of all their wrongdoings. Fighting is all I know and as a veteran I do it well. How much did I lose approx. $850, beyond upset.
Prepare for this disappointed customer to wish you had never just took her money. Things I did to resolve this problem: Call that number just placed on hold, emailed no response, the amount of money to send back not happening for crappy wigs.
I ordered a wig in February and it arrived unwearable. The wig was supposed to be long hair and curled fashionably and instead it had bald spots in the front where you could see the net cap and the hair on top of the wig was chopped short. Wigsbuy refuses to give me my money back until I pay to send the wig back, which is absurd. The product was not what I ordered and cannot be used and I am supposed to pay for the return shipping? I am reporting them to the BBB and my bank for fraud. Do NOT buy anything from Wigsbuy. They have terrible customer service and this is what their products look like.
FT LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA -- Oh how I WISH I'd checked reviews prior to ordering from this sorry excuse for a company. Do yourself a favor... DO NOT order from this website. Customer service... poor. Product... poor. Long story short, I ordered 2 packs of clip-in extensions in the color #2. I've been wearing extensions, wigs, etc for like 25 years so I'm very familiar with the colors and which ones look best on me. #2 is a natural black but what I got was more like a number 30. It's reddish... NOTHING like a number 2. Plus the hair has this very strong weird odor.
I emailed them 3 times. You think I received any answer? NO, NOTHING AT ALL! But when they were trying to communicate with me prior to my receiving the hair, there was no problem. Now that I have a complaint and need a resolution, all of a sudden, it's so hard to get someone to respond. So now I feel stuck with hair I cannot use and I can't even get a refund or replacement. I'm highly upset and disappointed. This was my 1st experience with this company but best believe it's also my LAST and I will tell everyone I know to stay away.
I was sent a wig that I had cancelled 15 minutes after reading 100s of bad reviews on this scam company. Heed the reviews and order from American companies. Wigsbuy has a 7 day window to return and also say to email them before returning. I emailed and got no response, so I went ahead & returned via UPS after waiting 6 days.
I then sent a strongly worded email regarding my return after getting no response & 17 days after I returned it, they responded. They said since I didn't notify them of return, I would get no refund. I said that I did email them, waited for a response & when I didn't get one, I returned. If I'd waited past the 7 days, they'd tell me I missed the time frame & would get no refund. Screwed either way.
After going round and round, they are offering me $20. I reported them to credit card companies and fraud departments. Do not order wigs, clothes, purses, etc. from any overseas sites as 90% are bogus like this one. Hard lesson learned. Any positive reviews are made by company employees... you can tell. There may be a very few real positive reviews out there floating around, but thousands report Wigsbuy as SCAMMERS and there are thousands of unresolved return cases out there. Buyer beware. Buy from US companies. Wish me luck.
CHINA -- They have the worst visitor service ever. I ordered my package April 21st though I'll have it by vacation. It is May 2nd and I still not have received anything. I emailed them and let them know I want a full refund seeing as I haven't even gotten any shipping info. They said they are processing and will provide shipping info as soon as possible. I then replied and let them know don't bother I don't want or need the item and to fulfill the full refund requested.
The next email I got was that they were sorry for the inconvenience and they were shipping it that day. I do not want the hair, and I replied after 21 days I will dispute the charge and send back. They sent it out though they didn't have to refund my money. I let them know two times I was dissatisfied and did not want or need the item. They are the worst. Please no one buy from this website Wigsbuy - continue to research they have hundreds of bad reviews, I wish I would have.
I made a big mistake by not looking at online reviews or else I would never have ordered from Wigsbuy. The wig took a very long time to arrive, which would have been excusable if the wig was as advertised. Instead it was not human hair -- verified by my hair stylist. The quality was awful. The color is horrible. The cut is terrible. This wig looks nothing like what was advertised. I have never had to write a bad review about anything until now. Do not buy anything from them unless you like to lose your money. They offered me $15 back on a $191 wig and told me to use hairspray. I am so disappointed.
