Terrible Product and Refusal to Give Refunds

CHINA -- They have a very nice site and give you many choices of wigs you think you can get. It doesn't matter what style or color you choose, you get a poorly made, haphazard, uneven choppy wig of whatever color they feel like sending. When you try to get resolution, they tell you what a great price you got and how it was made just for your order.

I sent photos comparing what I ordered with what I got. They claimed nothing was wrong with it. The best they would do was refund $10 (I paid $118). Complete refusal to acknowledge the problem. It took a month of back and forth complaints. Luckily I paid with PayPal who said they are very well acquainted with these people and their practices.

It's a great racket.
Throwing something together and charging $118 for it and closing the complaint by refunding $10. I doubt they have ever made a wig that was acceptable. I have never dealt with anyone with such a blatant disregard of business ethics.

There really should be a way of stopping people like this.
I suppose complaining and spreading the word is the best I can do.

I have a similar problem with the wig I received from wigsbuy.com. The difference in colour is even more obvious. We ordered a curly, blond-grey wig and received a straight brown/orange wig. Sorry I can not find out how to post my pictures here. No (partial) refund has been offered, they are in complete denial.

I have also filed a complaint with PayPal. Hopefully they will not only award me a full refund but also ban this company from further doing business through PayPal. At first I thought it was incompetence, now it looks more like intentionally scamming unsuspecting buyers. They really must be stopped.

I am having the same problem and I am beyond pissed off. I sent $300.27 for two wigs. One was supposed to be a short, straight, dark brown wig. I got a short, straight, blonde wigs and the the lace was some kind of white mesh cloth. The second wig was supposed to be med-lengeth, wavy and dark brown. It was everything but dark brown. IT WAS BROWN AND RED. It took forever for them to ship it and they were both too big. the last email I received stated, "In this case we strongly advise you to put on the wig and get a overall effect. We know you'll love it when you look at yourself in the mirror. The price of the wig is super, and the wearing effect is just amazing." When I read that email I went crazy. I to received a product that was equally as bad as what you received and nothing like advertised with the same sort of NON customer service. They said the product could not be disputed and would not help until I fild a complaint with the (pay Pal) credit card company, thay then tried to help a little but requested it be send back however fill in false customs declarations regarding the price which I would not do. Still not resolved. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

The wig I ordered was very attractive in the picture and the Item# was 01944563
The wig I received resembled Item #01944705 but looked worse than the photo on their website. The color was supposed to be blonde not white. Style and color looks similar to photo posted above. Have tried to file dispute with company but received message "This order cannot be disputed."
I also paid through PayPal and at this point do not feel like wasting any more if my time. Have been dealing with company for well over a month. I have other things to do with my time. I guess a lot of people feel like me because this company is still doing business. I did suggest to PayPal that they find some way to alert people who are just starting to deal with this company. It is evident that the common consumer can't do it. The headache is not worth what this company puts the consumer through. My complaint witb PayPal is still not resolved either. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

The same thing happened to me when I ordered a wig from these people. What I got didn't look anything like the one I ordered, it was just a big head of hair with no style. I'm not sure if it is even human hair. I'm very dissatified and it would be too difficult to try to send back.

I usually do my research before I buy something for a company I am not familiar with buy I got caught up in the PRICE and the Pictures. I order a long WIG.. a 26 inch LONG Wig I got a 14 inch WIG. I took a PICTURE of it and sent it and they said it looked like it was the product that I ordered. I was infuriated. They REFUSE to give me their RETURN ADDRESS so ONCE I GET it I will POST all over the INTERNET. I wish this business would be shut down. I been dealing with these people for about 3 weeks now. YES PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY and lets work on getting this COMPANY shut.

I can relate to every thing that has been said. I ordered hair extensions that were advertised as virgin Brazillian hair. What I got was plastic synthetic hair. I have sent countless emails and they are refusing to offer money back. On top of all this I was also billed with fed ex invoice for customs payment. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY THEY ARE FRAIDSTERS!!!

I intend to try to contact the Chinese consumer protection commission to see of I can get my money back. I paid £140 for plastic hair that is probably worth £20. THEY NEED TO NE STOPPED!

Bad Customer Experience
This is concerning Wigsbuy.

End of September I ordered 2 wigs at Wigsbuy's.
I waited over 2 month before the first wig was sent to me. I emailed Customer Device several times and every time I got a message telling me to be patient. Not quite the color I expected but it was acceptable.
The second one I finally got on the 21th of December after again a lot of emailing asking why it took so long manufacturing the wig.
(I told them that nowadays one can build a house in about 2 1/2 month)

I opened the package and the wig that was in it had no resemblance at all with the model I ordered and instead of a blond mixture I ordered it looked reddish.
It even was badly cut !
I emailed again with Customer Service Department of Wigsbuy to complain about this matter and asked for a return label to be able to send it back.

I hereby quote the email I did get from Wigsbuy:

I had the same experience! Their website is a complete scam! Even the Paypal link is fraudulent. The product you receive after about a month, is a sewn together thin wig with seams that show through and the worst quality I've ever seen! I wouldn't even pay $5 for one of their wigs. Don't buy anything through Wigsbuy.com . It's a complete scam!

I ordered a wig from them on April 19, 2013..cancelled it the same day and they never responded to any of my emails until several days later... I paid with a PayPal extras MasterCard and immediately disputed the charge and wigsbuy has never sent the presumably horrible wig nor have credited my account.. I also closed that credit card account and received a new account number and card....PLEASE DO NOT OrDer from these scammers!!!

I ordered a wig and paid $40. The wig I ordered was dark brown with blond highlights. The wig I received was strawberry blond and nothing like the wig I ordered. To their credit the size was a perfect fit. I shipped it back and am asking for refund but don't anticipate a response. Buyers BEWARE! This company should not be allowed to do business.

I am a wig wearer of many years. I recognize the pictures on wigsbuy.com's site from other manufacturers web sites. The wigs in the pictures are NOT HUMAN HAIR. Human hair doesn't look like that. The wigs they show are synthetic. High quality synthetic which comes already styled and is easy to maintain.

Wigsbuy.com is clearly a fraudulent business. Duplicate reviews, stolen pictures, misrepresentations.

Ladies, there are reputable sites online. Please do your research. Find one with real photos from real customers. Please. Don't be fooled or discouraged by these scammers.

I whish I found this page earlier. The first two wigs they sendt me was nice like picture on their site. Then I orderd a $220 dark blond wig. Top half was nice blond botton half was strong yellow like someone spilled paint on it. I also bought a red $284 wig, this was instead strong orange awful coloring.

I try to complain resulting in an endless back and forward cycle asking me for more and more pictures of proof.

DON'T DO IT!!!! Worst hair I have ever seen!! I paid over $400 plus rush fee and the color I got was orange, WTF?! I asked for dark brown, how in god's name did it go from brown to orange?? And who the heck wears orange hair, I don't want to look like an orangutan!!! I am not a monkey, this is absolutely ridiculous. I also had mine customized to my exact measurements and the wig was too damn small, it didn't fit my head. What are these people thinking when making the wig, they obviously don't give a crap and want to rush it to make their buck and put in poor work. I am so upset, it's maddening. DO NOT BUY FROM WIGSBUY EVERR!! It'll save you from being angry and upset like me and all the $$$$ just went down the toilet.

...I have had the same experience as above.I am a cancer patient receiving chemo and I NEED the wig.I finally received my wig,the color was a tad dark but acceptable,the size,however,was not...I ordered "average"and it is way too big at the back.....looks like a pouch!!got same crap about photos etc.which I sent,then was told that the wig looks fine and I should style it with hairSpray-what???complete joke!they disgust me,terrible English in their replies,full of rubbish.....how do I try to get my money back from Paypal??I have just replied to the company saying,no I insist on a return-will be interested to see what they try and throw at me next...I shall be mentioning their name on the BCC webiste and 2 other cancer forums I am a member of.......

How true your review was. mine came in a disgusting yellow-gold that I would never order. It also has this net hanging out the front that I don't know what to do with.

BEIJING, CHINA -- I purchase a wig from wigsbuy.com and that wig came missing hair and it looked nothing like the picture. I contact wigs buy to explain to them I want my money back that I was not happy with their merchandise and I do not want this wig. The proceeded to tell me to put hair spray on it and do what I must. I wrote them back and said I was sending this wig back and I want my money. They told me they will refund me $10 and I can keep the hair. I want my $58.00 and I do not want this wig.

The Wig Has a Big Manufacturing Problem and They Said That the Wig Is OK

CHINA -- I bought a wig from Wigsbuy.com and the wig that I received on July 2 th 2013 has an important manufacturing fault at the top of the wig.

I sent them the pictures, but they have the nerve to tell me that the wig was OK. Sorry, for my bad English, I speak French usually. I already sent the wig back to them with Canadian Post and it cost me $25.00 cad.

Please tell me WHAT can I do to get my money back ? I paid $121.99 us... it's a lot of money... I'm not working and I need my money back. And where can I lodge a legal complaint against the WIGSBUY.COM ? We have to stop them!

I guess I just threw out cash. Upset cause I live on Ssi which is a tiny income.
I purchased the wig through PayPal but from what I'm reading I still won't get my money.
I knew those prices were to good to be true ! Why would PayPal let their customers get ripped off? I just emailed PayPal to ask them that too!
I purchased a wig few weeks ago from Paula young and it was a horrible wig too! Style ,cut,color was nothing like pic. But hopefully I will get some refund from them.

Conclusion :

Wigsbuy advertises with numerous models which all look beautiful and are offering high discounts to make you wish to get one.
However none of the wigs is in stock, as they say, all are manufactured when ordered.
And because the price is low you don't have to aspect to get what you want and you have to do the haircut yourself to make it the one that was on their website!

Warning:
I don't recommend anybody to buy a wig from Wigsbuy!!!!

I bought a wig off wigsbuy and it is nothing like the pics online, can't even style it, the cut looks like a kid got to it with scissors. sent them photos and they insist I should be lucky to have such a beautiful wig handmade for me. they are truly rip off!!!I am not happy!!!!

CHINA? -- I lost $288 the site appeared to be a U.S. site, so I trusted it. I've had bad experiences with buying extensions from out of the country. Come to find out it was actually from China. It looked nothing like the picture the texture was so off and there wasn't much hair at all. I sent them picture and a bad review which doesn't even get submitted to their site, I can't rate it either, they fool people with the 5 star rating, so I can't warn anyone! But anyway they never replied. I'm out $288 and I was tight on cash to begin with, do not buy from this company.

Problems With Returning a Wig

BURLINGTON, MASSACHUSETTS -- After reading all those complaints about buying and returning a wig from WigsBuy.com, it seems like all of the experiences described by previous customers is what I went through.

I ordered a wig, which said natural hair and oh boy, it was far from it. the color was so wrong I can't even begin to describe the color. I paid $140. and that should have been a signal that its just too inexpensive to be real hair. So, when I tried to return it I was told to take a picture and when I did, like everyone else's scenario, I was told that there is nothing wrong. After a month of back and forth, I finally contacted PayPal. They told me what to do and assured me that I will receive my full payment back. They were wonderful and I received an email from WigsBuy and they offered me $30 refund, which I refused. Then another email came in and they offered $50.00, This back and forth bargaining went on for over 10+ emails but I was adamant not to accept anything less than what I was promised by PayPal. So, as the emails kept on coming with low offers, I noticed that PayPal already refunded me the money.

A lesson learned, when its too good to be true, it probably is. $140 for real hair wig is something you would never be able to purchase from a legitimate American Company.

SO, never, ever, purchase anything from China. This is my second time (purchased a piece of clothing once) and experienced the very similar situation.

Wig with Lice.

CHINA, CALIFORNIA -- Tired of my aging and thin hair, so I ordered a wig. What I received did not look like the picture PLUS - there were dead lice in the hair, as well as nit sacks. So disgusting. I emailed them and they told me to style the wig and spray it - that I would love it. They did not acknowledge my complaint about the bugs. I continued to try to explain that I wanted my money back, and sent them pictures of the wig AND the bugs etc. They continued to tell me that I should just get over it and style the wig to my liking. I've contacted Pay Pal and have not received any response from them. I wish I had googled these reviews, as I now see that this is another unethical business in China. I hate China. They poison our pets AND our children - and give us infested wigs. All at the expense of the poor pitiful workers in that excuse for a country!

The Service And Representation Of The Product I Purchased On The Wigsbuy Web Site Was Very Poor

CHINA -- The product value was not certainly $900 worth but more like $50 at best. Clearly misleading and deceptive conduct on many fronts. When I raised the concern I was asked for photos which I sent. The reply was “wear the wig it will look beautiful”. The wig color density and quality looked nothing like the picture. I was not going to wear a wig that I paid $350 for that looked like it was worth $50. All the calls I made to the company for action were ignored . The web site was misleading making customers believe it is an American web site when it’s not . I was also frustrated with poor language skills from the operator . No supervisor was willing to help as I requested. With My last call to them I was informed to seek recourse from PayPal for the transaction. The only way to resolve the problem in the end was by resorting to PayPal to put pressure them. PayPal to their credit did objectively work through the issue and I did get a refund but I had to pay for the freight back to China. Happy to do so to get out of a bad deal.

I would not buy anything from them. Whatever the price of the item on their web site, the product is its worth about 10% of that. Don’t waste your money. Pathetic way of doing business!

The item I received was not the item displayed on the website, the color was way off!! After requesting a return label, I was told to email a pic of the item first. In conclusion I was told by "Leanne" to dye the item to my preferred color..lol. I then reminded Leanne that I would rather return the item. "Leanne" then offered me $10 to keep said item!! I reminded "Leanne" that Wigsbuy represents itself as a reputable company and or appears that Wigsbuy is a fraud, a scam and the site should be removed, including the other companies affiliated with them. I received an email from "Leanne" on 11/21/13 stating the matter will be turned over to his or her supervisor for final decision making. Hmmm.

ALASKA -- This is my first time shopping on wigsbuy.com, when I received my item, I know I will come to wigsbuy again and again, I like online shopping very much, so I know a lot of online shopping site, I saw tbdress on my Facebook, just want to have a try, but to my surprise, my wigs I ordered from wigsbuy is super nice, the same as their photo on the site, and the quality very good also.It arrived earlier than expected. Appreciate your best service!
