Dish Network - Existing Customers Are Not Important to Dish
My contract had expired, I spoke to several different people at Dish. I want new equipment with the same deal a new customer gets. They offered me $10 off a month and I can upgrade my equipment with a new 2 year contract. I am not willing to do a new contract if I can't get the same deal as a new customer. It makes absolutely no sense to me that if I cancel and come back I could get the new customer deal, but no one can give it to me as an existing customer. Someone should explain to Dish that it is much cheaper to keep a current customer happy than it is to recruit a new customer. They tell me to get the new deal I have to cancel and come back at a later date. SO they are willing to lose my business for either a period of time or forever instead of giving me the same deal a new customer gets. Well my service is scheduled to be disconnected at the end of the month, but I may call back and get it disconnected sooner.
