Ashleys Homestore In Edmonton Informative - Damage To Property - Furniture Delivery
EDMONTON -- I ordered 5,000 dollars of furniture that took 12 weeks to deliver, something about delays with suppliers, yeah. Then delivery was rescheduled twice because the drivers couldn't find the home,or so they said. When they arrived, they delivered damaged furniture and also damaged my home. They damaged the walls that have to be fixed, not cosmetically, but construction. Then they dragged furniture along the basement hardwood floors, that now need to be resurfaced and stained, they were brand new. Also on the way out they hit my garage door in my front drive, they damaged it that it has to be replaced, won't open/close. After all that they refuse to pay for damages to home. They want to come back and pick up damaged furniture though, are you nuts to let them in again? I will drop off furniture to them, less costly and now I have a law suit for the damages to my home as they still refuse to pay or repair. Thanks. My advice is stay away from this store. All homeowners out there, protect your investment and buy elsewhere, furthermore all the furniture they sell arrives damaged - to the customer home, nice to know that this stuff is new, but probably used and recycled. The only thing green about recycled furniture is the cash that goes out the window when you thought you bought new.
Plus they never refund money, only fix their stuff or give a gift certificate to keep you quiet,Yeah a certificate really helps when you suffer more property damage than the rotten furniture is worth.
