CHICAGO, NEW YORK -- I ordered 14 Wooden Ladder Back chairs with a 3 year guarantee and made in America. They have been in service less than 6 months and the supposed 7 layers of finish is coming off every chair. I can live with that. The wooden seat with padding and vinyl cover has the screws puncturing the vinyl leaving a hole and poking my customers in the butt. After making me jump through hoops and documenting my issues on every chair with photos and waiting weeks for a response they told me these manufacturing defects are not covered. I said WHAT!!!
PENNSYLVANIA -- We ordered booths and tabletops from Affordable Seating with a delivery date well in excess of their posted timeline. We checked in periodically to confirm production and received acknowledgments and proposed shipping dates. Shipping was estimated at 3-5 business days. Come the delivery date, nothing. We called and were given another date, still within our window to get the restaurant opened. Now we just received an update stating the proposed completion date is in another two weeks which is unacceptable.
We should have know better because this is the second time we ordered from Affordable Seating and the second time they did not meet their promised delivery dates. Last time was during a winter blizzard so we gave them the benefit of the doubt but there is no excuse this time. Clearly, this is how they run their business, with no care at all for their customer. I guess you get what you pay for, in this case, no service at all.
CHICAGO, ILLINOIS -- The worst company ever. I've ordered chairs, tables and bar stools. After many emails to have my order I sent it to them and of course pay them. All products available with a delivery in 6 to 11 business days. The payment has been made 2 months ago and still waiting for my stuff. They lie constantly about the availability, the pick up of the order and shipping. Because of them I have to delay my grand opening and of course losing a lot of money. Stay away from this company!!!
CHICAGO, ILLINOIS -- I don't even know where to start. I'm unsure how these people sleep at night. My delivery was delayed 3x which delayed my grand opening. When delivered every single thing was either damaged beyond use or had some sort of deficiency. Over 60 items ranging from stools to chair to booths had issues. They ignored me and refused to compensate even though pictures were sent and acknowledgment was made same day. Stay far, far away.
CHIGAGO, ILLINOIS -- Have to say it's been a long time that I have been this disappointed with customer service. We made a mistake and ordered the wrong height of table base... 100% our fault, but it took me almost a week to even get a hold of someone about swapping/exchanging just the poles. We sent them back 2 day priority and they were received almost 2 weeks ago. I sent SEVERAL emails expressing that we REALLY needed the correct poles so we could get out our new tables and chairs (the bar stools were sent to us week before our table tops so we have had to store them all over the restaurant for a while now). I never heard back from anyone.
So I called and am still told that I need to wait longer. I am unsure what is taking so long. You received the "wrong" pole, re-invoice me for price difference and shipping, I pay and you send the correct sized poles back to us... DONE. This is my first time using this company and it will be my last and I will make sure that my other restaurateurs know to steer clear.
UPDATE: AI was contacted and told that the correct poles would be shipped as soon as I approved and paid for the updated invoice... Great, except that the invoice is quadruple what the difference actually was including almost $80 in freight (when we shipped the pole back to them it'd cost us $40 for 2 day express)? When I asked why it was so much I was told that this is how it had to be done... wow! Got my money now on to the next customer to screw over. I could never treat my customers like this. I would be out of business but sadly a business this big can sometime just do whatever they want... And they do!
ILLINOIS -- I ordered 2 booths back in July. I was told an estimated ship date and allowed for a little extra time, knowing manufacturers are always running later than they estimate... 4 different calls to customer service later I still do not have my booths. Every single time I talk to them they promised me a guaranteed ship by date and still nothing. This company is a scam! They really impacted a large project I have been working on. I will be canceling my order and demanding a refund.
I would like to thank Affordable Seating for its patience in assisting me with selecting the right furniture for my venue. The sales representative was very helpful and the furniture was delivered on time. I was impressed by the selection of items but Affordable Seating had what I was looking for in restaurant seating.

I was looking for one place where I could buy all of the furniture for my bistro - chairs, bar stools, tables and booths. I found everything all in one place at Affordable. It was nice to be able to have everything delivered all at once from the same supplier. The prices were also really good, which helped me stay under budget.
BRIDGEPORT, CONNECTICUT -- I had never heard of Werzalit before but I'm glad the salesman at Affordable talked me into buying Werzalit patio table tops. The material looks natural yet it's really durable and easy to clean. It's great for outdoors to where they are in the Sun a lot. I got a good deal on them too.
