WINTER GARDEN, FLORIDA -- I purchased a Sofa in July 2019 that was completely boxed, with the help of a friend, we delivered the sofa to my house. After unpacking find out the recliner is not working. Call the store and had a 20 minutes talk with the manager and Corporate office, they asked that I need to bring it to the store and will order another sofa. I insisted that they need to pick the sofa and replace it, they refused and ask me to bring it to the store and when the replacement arrived I need to arrange for pickup. I should have read the reviews before entering or purchasing from them. I don't recommend the place to anyone. They are very unprofessional and very poor in customer service.

TN, TENNESSEE -- I applied online for a promotion 12 months same as cash, I qualified expecting this payment plan. Purchased a living room suite and was only given fabric protection plan paperwork, when questioned I was told I had the entire contract. Flash forward to 1st payment and am now being told I signed up for a revolving interest rate, so over $100 monthly is going toward interest.

I would not have ever signed up for this type of contract, who would? Badcock customer service basically told me to deal with it, if I return the furniture it's a repo, and my credit is ruined. This from an account service representative. If I didn't qualify for the plan I applied for I should have been told, instead I was given a high credit limit so who wouldn't think I was getting what I applied for, if my credit didn't qualify then why give a high credit limit, it doesn't make any sense. Bad customer service, fraudulent sales practices, misleading advertising.

NORTH CHARLESTON, SOUTH CAROLINA -- The experience started out wonderful but in the end turned out to be horrific. How can you sell appliances and not inform the customer that the plug for the item has to be purchased in addition to the item? That is very unprofessional on the sales representative's part. How is the item to be used without the power cord? The delivery guy suggested we go buy one from Home Depot when the item should already come with one as expensive as these are. Very stupid to tell a customer such nonsense. I will not recommend them to anyone and we have since canceled our sale. Never again will we go there for anything else.

COVINGTON -- I purchased a full bedroom set with a mattress set on Black Friday. I was there 3 hours just to get approved. I had picked everything I wanted prior going to the store. Camisha ** my sales representative was new but great. My furniture was ready for delivery on 11/29/17. I gave away all my old bedroom the day before delivery, my husband and I took off from work early to be there for that delivery time to find out 4:55 pm.

That evening on my way home that my headboard has a crack in it and the store manager Dennis **and one of his guys will not come today. I explain that I have no bed and I will be on the floor, the manager did not care whatsoever he stated "Your furniture will be delivered on Monday December 4, 2017.

The manager was not in any way willing to accommodation me by bring the rest of my unbroken items that is not broken and a temp bed so we can sleep off the floor. I called the store an hour later and spoke with my sales representative who was willing to give me a temp bed so she called the manager on the phone to see if he would approve of it and he told her to tell me," I will call her later". Here it is the next day, no call. I will never, ever refer anyone to this furniture company ever. They have bad reviews which I should have research, but you live and learn... Stay away from this furniture company and store!!!

ST. PETERSBURG, FLORIDA -- I purchased a living set, loveseat, sofa and chair, in August. They told me I would be billed on/or around the 25th of the month. Bill due on the 5th of the month. Sept, no bill arrived, I called, it came the next week. Tomorrow is the 1st day of Oct. No bill has yet to arrive. I am not giving these incompetent people my banking information to pay over the phone.

Today I was told to call their 800 number, I was put on hold for approximately 30 minutes, listening a record about how good this company is... finally another recorded message came on stating the person I was calling was unavailable... really? So, I called the store, here in St. Petersburg. All I want is my bill, so it can be paid on time. If there was any way, I would have them come pick up this furniture, and be done with them.

LAKELAND, FLORIDA -- I purchased several thousands worth of furniture, paid in full. I purchased their so called insurance. One of our dining Room chairs developed a crack-down 1 of the rear legs. I called the insurance company. They came out. The tech said that it would be covered. Over 2 weeks went by and I did not hear anything. I called the insurance company and they told me the claim was denied for excessive use. The chair is only used by my 100 pound wife. The insurance company's pamphlet clearly says that it will cover cracks in wooden furniture.

I took the chair up to the store where I purchased it. 3 days went by the store called me and said they can do nothing about it. They told me to call 1800 223 2625. They also said they could do nothing. I am not the kind to take advantage of things, and I have clearly been scammed by this company. Please do not purchase from Badcock. This is a truly horrible company. The sales staff is misleading, our salesperson told us word for word, "Everything is covered under insurance, if you even as much scratch it, it is covered no matter what." Do not buy from this company, Badcock and their insurance company are scammers.

LAKELAND, FLORIDA -- Ordered 3 rooms of furniture. Took 3 months to receive my full order. Bedroom Set was delivered with no slats so that we were unable to use it. We were not told of a problem until they delivered. We were unable to use the bed for 3 weeks. No brackets for the mirror. Was sitting against wall of my home for 3 months. Called several times. Left messages and never received call backs. Terrible customer service.

Received my first bill only to find out that salesperson never put in for the 24 months of interest free payments. Was told to send a letter. No response. Finally called. Was told nothing can be done. They are quick to take your money but after that good luck in getting what you ordered or speaking to a representative. I highly recommend consumers go elsewhere. There are a lot of other reputable furniture companies in which you will receive the courtesy you deserve. Unacceptable behavior. Will never do business here again.

MOORESVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA -- It's very sad that a company treats loyal customers like this one has. We have furnished 3 houses over the last 11 years from Badcock. Never had an issue and we have dealt with 3 different locations. Well, we ordered furniture and had to deal with a different store. The experience was horrible. After a month we still had not got all of our items. But of course got a bill.

The manager told us on real occasions they would be there at a certain time but NEVER showed up. No call or anything. This happened 3 times and as you know you have a few hour window so we had to have someone wait all 3 times. This manager, Kevin, is so rude, obnoxious, he should not be a manager at all. He lied to corporate about the situation.

We are so over this so we told them to come get the furniture that was delivered and will you believe they are trying to charge us a return fee of several hundred dollars it's very clear they don't care about loyal customers they are the ones that will lose. I bet we have spent $15000 at least over the years and was getting ready to purchase a bedroom suite. It's sad we will never ever buy from this company again. Beware everyone, as to date, 7-5-16, still no call back.

CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE -- My mother-in-law ordered a small little hope chest for my daughter. They were gonna delivery, but we've have to wait around for 4 hours for delivery. So, I called up to have them just put it together and I'll be there to pick it up. NO! That's too hard of a task. The head warehouse guy said that they can't just do that, and I'll have to wait almost two weeks to get it assembled, and to pick it up. Well, we came the 18th to pick it up, and had to wait for them to unload a semi truck first.

After baking in the sun for 30 minutes, a guy came out and told us that they were finishing to put the top on. Two weeks to build a little simple hope chest and they're not done yet??? Waiting behind the store for a while, I called to the manager inside and she said she'd be right out. They came out with the unit, and I looked at her and the warehouse manager and just said, "It took two weeks to put this little thing together"??? I received blank looks, and no apology. Not going back to Badcock, and will tell others to avoid them.

OKEECHOBEE, FLORIDA -- We purchased a red bonded leather sectional. It began flaking off so badly you could see it on our tile floor. Contacted the owner of the store. She was very nice but said she could do nothing. Told me to contact Badcock direct. I did and sent pictures of the sofa to a lady in customer relations.

She told us to go to the store and get what we wanted. She said they no longer sold that sofa we had. Good. We got an italian leather sofa and loveseat (reclines). We paid a difference but are well pleased. I must say it was a process, but they did make us happy. I cannot say anything bad about the company, and wish everyone else well that is having problems.
