GARDEN CITY, MICHIGAN -- I have dealt with Belle Tire before to fix my tires and had no issues with them. I had needed to get my wheels cleaned so I took it there and they did a good job. I had also needed my oil changed so I let them do that too. I guess they had inspected my car which they did on their own and told me I needed to have my back air shock replaced soon. So I got that done the next day.

A few days later my car started acting funny by misfiring and stalling a few times. I've never had any problems with my car until they changed my oil. When I parked my car I opened the hood and found they had not put my dipstick all the back in half of it was still sticking out and then when I checked my oil they had put way to much oil back in! Now I'm having more issues with my car shifting and just not driving right altogether. Tomorrow I'm going up there to let them know what they did or more so didn't do and find out what other problems they had caused other than my oil just flying all over my engine.

TOLEDO, OHIO -- I dropped off my car at 10:30AM this morning for a front-end alignment and walked home. Waited until 4:35PM when I was called and told that the car was done, however Ford never released the toe and camber specs on the Focus (the car that I was having this done on) so those couldn't be re-aligned. A little confused by all this. (How do they know that the toe and camber's out of alignment if there's no specs on it?!?!?) I paid the $47 and some odd cents for the alignment and left for home. Car still drifts, not as bad but still drifts. Alignment is still out and now I'm out $47 that I just basically threw down the drain because of them.

If Ford didn't make those specs available to Belle, why didn't they just turn me down when I walked in and asked for an alignment?? Someone there is either lazy or incompetent, either way after this ripoff I'm NEVER going back again!!!

MICHIGAN -- I recently went to Belle Tire for an insurance repair after hitting a pot hole. They did a horrible job of repairing the issue. They not only missed a bent rim and a bent strut. But they claimed that they mounted and balanced 4 new tires and then a 4 wheel alignment but the car was so badly out of alignment that it caused the brand new tires to chop so badly that the car was undrivable after 4 months. I then tried to have them fix the issue but they refused and told me to make a illegal claim against my insurance to pay for it. I had to go through the BBB to get them to finally pay for the issue. DO NOT GO TO BELLE TIRE.

LANSING, MICHIGAN -- Went to Belle Tire (Belle Liar) and purchased two new tires. Three months later, the sidewall of one of the tires blew out. I took it to Belle to have it replaced under the terms of the warranty and they refused, citing "damage to the tire". I showed them there was no damage to the tire or the rim. They didn't even bother to remove it from the rim to check the inside & see if there was a broken cord, etc. They told me I should have purchased their (expensive) road hazard warranty. I have bought dozens of tires at Discount Tire and Sam's Club and NEVER had any problems with warranty coverage.

Belle Tire spends so much money on advertising and political contributions, they have to make it up somehow... cheap tires and never honor a warranty! Don't listen to their claim of customer satisfaction in their commercials... they lie!

SOUTHGATE, MICHIGAN -- We are loyal Belle Tire people for 20 years. At the Southgate location we were not even given the time of day. We had a very flat tire that would not hold air and ask if they change it for us. The time was around 5:55pm and they said they were closed and would not help us. I know it was getting late but it would only have taken 5 minutes. We are truly disappointed with Belle Tire.

GRAND RAPIDS, MICHIGAN -- I took my car in to get the tires looked at because my car kept telling me that it had low tire pressure. After 2 hours of sitting there they told me there was nothing wrong with my tire. I left the store and the next day, the tire pressure light came on again so I took it to Ford only to find out there was a huge nail in my tire. Really? NOT pleased.

SAGINAW, MICHIGAN -- I stopped at Belle Tire in Saginaw, Michigan on the advice of a friend. My car's radiator appeared to have some sort of leak or a potential overheating problem. I went in expecting little help, (this is after all, a tire store). In about a half hour, the technician, "Bob", tightened a hose and refilled the reservoir. When I asked what the charge was, he and the manager sent me on my way at NO CHARGE. You can't get better service than that!

TROY, MICHIGAN -- Very competent company. Long standing in the Michigan business community and very reliable.

CHESTERFIELD, MICHIGAN -- December 2007. Gave me an $1102.00 estimate to repair front end. Wanted to replace everything except front left bearings (30 dollars). Including a part that they had replaced previously (Lifetime warranty??). Turns out the only part that needed replacement were front left bearings. Mechanic Missed The Obvious! Went for the Big Bucks!! There are better places in the area. Check out Crane Alignment in Mount Clemens.

MICHIGAN -- I have been a customer of Belle Tire for almost 40 years and it never fails to amaze me how they attract such friendly and helpful people to work at that company. Today it is not easy to find companies that really understand customer service but the people at Belle Tire sure do. My hat is off to them. Great job.
