Elevator Not Working

CLARION, PENNSYLVANIA -- On 06/09/07 9:41 PM, four of us checked into Hampton Inn for a good night's rest. We have been driving all day. My friend (with his wife) has a bad heart and waiting on a heart transplant. I (with my wife) am a disabled veteran. The point is, our rooms were on the third floor and the elevator did not work. We had to walk up to our rooms (302/KXTd), carrying our luggage. This was known all day. I will say that everything else was very good.

NEW JERSEY -- I recently, for the first time stayed at the Hampton Inn in Harrison, NJ. They had a great staff, wonderful continental breakfast service, courteous shuttle workers and overall great prices for the area. Those not wanting to pay high prices for a visit to Manhattan should consider staying at this facility as they will take you to the Penn Station where in a short 15-20 minute ride on the PATH you are in Manhattan. A+ on this facility and staff.

TEXAS -- I was double charged for one night stay at the Hampton Inn because they misspelled my last name on the reservation. Upon arrival, there was no inquiry into confirmation number. Credit card information was used instead to book an additional room, while reserved room was also added to the bill. Management, however has refused to fess up to accepting blame on this choosing instead to say that a confirmation number was asked for and not found upon arrival.
