WOOD DALE, ILLINOIS -- I, very stupidly, ordered another product from J.D. Marvel. After waiting for 6 months, they sent me the wrong product. I returned it and they still have not sent me my money back. Do not do business with this company. They cash the check as soon as they get it and we wait for months and months, if ever, to get our product. It is almost 9 months that I have been waiting for a pair of moccasins or a refund.
ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI -- My experience with JD Marvel started in Aug. 2003, I sent a check and did not get my slippers. I made a promise not to throw good money after bad on phone calls, so I sent many, many e-mail. My persistence paid off and I received my refund check last week. I guess they finally earned enough interest on my money. Be assured that I have learned a lesson and will not order from a strange company again without doing research.
Check sent November 6, 2003. Check cashed November 17, 2003. They have no problem cashing checks quickly, but I have not received the items ordered. BUYERS BEWARE!!! I did a search online to get their info, came up with pages and pages of complaints of the same nature. Website of course will let you order, but has ZERO contact info. I was only able to get the contact info from my3cents.com!
